On a serious note it was awesome to have so many 7's in one place racing. I've never been to anything like that. Reminded me of back in the day when racing was huge. Hopefully we can get turnouts like that all next summer with the Nopi/NHRA events.
Again great meeting the NYC/New Jersey crew....Mike(1Revvin7), Roan, Anthony, John (Boosted7), Tony, Bruno....Sorry if I forgot anybody! Wouldn't have mattered if I ran today or not, I had a great time.

I did run today. Only twice and neither was a full pass beyond 2nd gear, lol...
First pass I popped a vacume line and never built boost. 2nd pass I got major wheel hop and broke BOTH axles AGAIN.

actually there was a CYM out there that ran multiple 8.60 passes. it was a backhalved car tho.
we had a great turnout yesterday. lots of fast rx7's but the track was a lil slippery. i learned that i need to learn to drive my car at this hp level.
anthony ran his best et to date on conservative boost and lifting after third gear!
john D ran well (as always) thats gotta be one of the most consistant street cars ive ever seen.
1 reven7 ran very well also, mid 11's i believe.
Romeo showed up with his 9.20 second first gen but the guys at the track wouldn't let him run it.
all in all it was a good day.

I got home pretty late and went straight to sleep! It was cool meeting all the guys and finally put faces to the forum names. It was nice to see everyone out there running their cars. I finally meet 1reven7 and justurbo2. Roan drove to the track and made it home safely. Ernie made the trip all the way from Maryland. JD, Boostn7 ran multiple low 11sec passes lifting also.
When Ernie broke both his axles, these ball bearings fell out which brought new meaning to the "***** out" racing team lol. We all had a pretty good laugh with that one in the pits! We all had a lot of fun and it was freeezing.
Now for the vids...
I ran a 10.6@121, I'm still having some issues with the car pulling to the right under full load so I lifted and only trapped a 121mph. I dialed in a 10.5 and was surprised the car went 10.6 lifting. This is on a Holset turbo, not the GT42. Here are the viids. ....

Didnt knew that you gotten a new turbo bro...I know how much you want me to go and run my RX. I'm not seeing more than 7lb on my turbo. DOnt konw what tony did. But I have a new map and it pulls hard.

Damn! I'm upset that I missed the event! BUT I'm happy to see that everyone is progressing very nicely. It's nice to see that everyone is communicating with each other and meeting up at these events. This will help all these cars go quicker and faster, not to mention unify the rx7 community to a certain extent here on the east coast. Props for all those who went and met up with each other and had fun, I'll try to make it next time.
