Instead you attacked him about building the car he purchased the way he wants. It's his car to do what he wants to. If you disagree with him, thats fine. you dont have to blanket his thread with your opinion. just give it up and move on to the next thread.

I actually commend him for building himself a nice RX-7 that actually HAS low end torque.

 

i am hostile this morn but that is because my initial post is no different than any of the other guys that were nay sayers. i come in and read a few guys acting like fools that say i didnt read the thread which is false...i read every word. and 2 a guy getting defensive/ being sarcastic and singling out my post when i am only expressing my opinion. the correct response could have been ...well matty to each his own. i like having low end torque. or soemthign along those lines. it would have ended there. but the sarcasm and jabs feed into my anger.

i am not wrong here. i think the rotary is what makes an rx7 special. i respect the ls1 however. those points are clearly expressed in my posts. i did however attack when someone was throwing jabs at me. read my initial post again.

 

you originally said he took the soul out of the car - the soul was already gone, and the car was destined for the 'yard. be thankful he saved it and turned it into a powerful contender, for chrissakes. he was using it as a daily driver, and didn't want to mess around with rotaries.

Joey,Braggin rights are more valuable to me and from I already said your car has yet to earn them and how convienent that your now attempting to sell it before finishing it and seeing what it will actually do.
If it is so hot then sell the vette and keep the fd. But we all know why you would choose the vette so don't sweat it. I would rather the vette than a pieced together rx7 too.

If you want to part it out though keep me in mind. I would love to drop that ls1 in my jeep.

All talk aside, I think you did a nice job on the install. I seen it once up at the BBq. Good luck with the sale and if you keep it then well have to meet up sometime for those braggin rights.

Well you better find a different car then, because the one you claim is so unique is shared by many thousands of people with the same engine. There are about 200 V8-powered RX7's out there. Better hurry up, I think I hear the shepherd calling. it's your turn to get sheared. Baaa.



I wouldn't want another FD if I won, and I doubt he would want one with an LS1 if he did. It probably would make a good episode though.

It's been no secret for the last year that work has me too tied up to spend time working on the car. I'm in no hurry to sell it, and only listed it because it just sits collecting dust, and something this close to being done shouldn't just sit. I don't really know what the Corvette has to do with anything. Should I sell the rest of my vehicles too?

 

I'm sure I have spent more time following his project then you've spent in grade school english.

 

Than do like some pink episodes and agree to give the car back. Or don't and you guys can keep making excuses and internet fight. Either way, I'm entertained.

I understand why some get mad at the swap and I myself am a rotary guy. I appreciate the work and the benifits the V8 brings, mostly reliability. I give him props for the work, time and money spent.
