Video sounds like a cool idea. I don't put them together, but some people I know on http://www.autocross.us do very professional looking ones all the time. Something similiar would be very cool. Don't forget a trip to VIR to the MazdaDrivers track school.

Sorry, haven't been around. Will try to be around soon

Some of you guys know me, some of you don't. I haven't had to much time to interact because of constant projects that kills my time, it seems every weekend is spent fixing or tearing something up in the garage. I am trying to get the oldest rotary engine vehicle on the road but when you think it is almost finished, it seems I need something else. To finish my poject I will need to get rid of some other lower priority vehicles.

86 Base model, oil and coolant change, runs excellent, good power, was going to give to my son, realized "hell no, why?" Selling for $1200 OBO

84 GS, nice body, engine still there, Strong engine (12a) needs carb work and gas tank needs to be cleaned, no title, $400

Lightbulb 1973 RX-3 wagon almost done.

I am trying to get this old thing on the road, I thought i would be the oldest but I think Lou has me beat with his RX-2. I will have to check which year it is. I believe it is also a 73.

The RX-3 station wagon has the following:

Stock 12a engine, low miles out of a 1982 RX-7
Racing Beat Holley and Intake, still working some bugs, I believe I have to put a FPR on it.
Holley Red Fuel Pump
6 puck Bronze clutch and 1979 tranny
Racing Beat Header and presilencer and RX-7 muffler.
Rebuilt calipers (front) New brake shoes, wheel cylinders (rear)
1st gen RX-7 mags with Yokohama AVS A 509s.
Electric Fan, optima battery
REPU big under radiator oil cooler.
New windshield ( I had to drive to Connecticut to get it)
Needs paint, but not rust and solid.
Updated Electronic Ignition
All new fluids, oil, coolant, gear oil, etc.
E-fan from a Mercedes, very strong and slim.

Things I have and haven't installed:
MSD 6A
Caster/Camber plates
Autometer gauges
Better grounding system and it deserves a stereo.

Car starts but dies, takes a awhile to stay on, I have to let it warm up. I am not too knoledgeable about Holleys. The stationwagon stumbles at first a little, then once the rpms are up, I can burn some serious tires. I am debating to get a Sterling Carb. I'd rather have a nice streetable old school car than to take to the meetings than something I have to play with on a constant basis.

If you guys are bored one day and want to stop at the house, drink some brews and see me literally tear a car up in two days, c'mon on by.

I forgot to add one thing, I am also parting out one more vehicle, it is a 1979.

RB Header, RB Pesilencer
KYB shocks
Suspension techniques Springs
another 12a engine
79 tranny
Not too much left that is worth a damn, but the body panels a straight, no rust

You know if the results have been posted for the 11/21 Calvin? I can't seem to find them on the webpage.

Could you post the date/location next autocross, I'm going to try to make the next one as well.

For Bryan and anyone else. The upcomming autocross schedule as far as I know is as follows:

Nov 28 NASA @ Virginia Motorsports Park http://www.nasaracing.net/autox/
Dec 5 VMSC @ Virginia Motorsports Park http://www.vmsc.org/schedule.html
Dec 12 BCC @ Pungo, Virignia Beach http://www.beachcomberscorvetteclub.com/
Dec 19 TSCC @ Fentress Airfield, Chesapeake http://www.tidewatersportscarclub.com/

In general you can check out http://www.autocross.us/calendar.html for regional autocross schedules. I try to keep everyone up to date here. The two events listed in Richmond have a pretty good turnout of the Richmond RX7 guys (read the Richmond VA thread here if you want more info on them).

I ran the FC at ACU-4, and I don't have a front mount cooler for FB.
S'ok - I can't remember names either.

The one I have is leaking, so really, all I'd need it for is for temporary use, until I can get the one I have fixed.

I have heard that Culpeper Radiator in Portsmouth used to fix them. I have personally had good success with Culpeper in general, but others have had mixed results over the years. I have never had them do RX7 work, or this specific repair, but Dave has suggested them.

Since I live in P-Town now, I guess I'll have to give them a try.

Where is yours leaking? I'm reluctant to give up my spare (I'm a greedy horder) Like I said I have two that need the bungs replaced or repaired.. Actually now I think about it.. one of them is just leaking at the core. I have to look at them again to attempt to refresh my memory. If that's any help lemme know..

My spare SE cooler has a crack in the bung. I have heard they fix that. If they can't for some reason the other place you might try is Gerloff Welding in Norfolk. Anyway let us know what you find out since more than one of us need to do this.
