kenny, looks like this guy is all talk and no show. I know I havent seen the car he is talking about driving around, and havent heard any of the other guys talk about it. Seems like the best thing to do is take a pass on him. In other news got a 91 vert today, black, 67k nothing major wrong, all for 2750. Now the hard part, getting my mom to give it up and let me take here from tennessee! I will post pics, they are in my work email, so I will post some on monday.

Hey guys. I was trying to get financed for a WRX, and didn't get it because I havn't established any credit yet. But, tomorrow I'm going to go try to get financed for a loan for a mk4 GTI, and im going to apply for a credit card.

If anyone knows anything about VW performance parts, and where to get some, I would appriciated any info. I was looking into what it would cost for simple things like an exhaust and suspension, but couldn't really find anything. (want to price aftermarket parts, to see if i'll even be able to afford to mad the car at all.)

 

If you're looking for a local supplier with lots of experience with VW's, check out API/The Bug House in Va Beach. It's been w hile since I've been there, but I think they're off of Witchduck. I forget the owner's name, but he's been in the VW parts business for over 20 years.

I think BAP/GEON also carries a lot of VW stuff. I'd try The Bug House first, though.

 

Whitehead's down by ocena base is another option, I forgot about them till ren posted. I dont know Whiteheads does newer vdubs, but i always see a bunch of them there.

hey does anyone have any good FD turbos lying around, mine just started leaking oil horribly.

 

Might be a good time to go single turbo, I have experience installing them if you need it done.
