Ian, you don't have to put down any windows actually. You do have to open them for track schools at VIR, but not for an autocross.

Anyone see this:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=nPacPZuGGH8

Reminder to pay attention to how you put your wheels on. The story is that he got lug nuts that were wrong thread size or something. The car was essentially undamaged believe it or not. I know a few people online that saw it happen.... Just a reminder to make sure you do everything right in critical areas.

Next meet info:

http://rx7.meetup.com/55

here is the quick story
OK, we got the details of this one set in stone. We are having a meet at Randy's house on Sunday (not Saturday) the August 12th, 2007 at 3PM. I think randy will be setting up his grill if enough people show up. Expect a fun rotary gathering with all the usual stuff, but in a much cooler location. The rumor is that Randy may be leaving the area and is having a bit of a garage sale just in case.

So plan to be there, bring your own beverage, don't expect Randy to provide it all. Also bring your own meat items to put on the grill just in case he does things like he used to do. Randy's address is posted here so plan to be there.

hi locals, im pretty much new to the forum. my name is jeremy and from newport news. just drove up to jersey (long *** drive btw) this past weekend and picked up a FD. i used to own an s2000 and a nsx...this my first FD and i cant wait to start modding it

currenty, i have a really rough idle...it bounces up and down all the time then when the idle stops bouncing it idles constant at a high rpm. it has a apexi fc and i was told that the fc is learning, but anyways i have no idea what the problem is. if i can meet up with someone local that can help with this issue, ill pay for your time. any help would be appreciated.

thanks,
Jeremy

Bouncy idle can be a number of things. Vac leak, TPS needs adjustment, etc. I would adjust the TPS to within spec (you can see the voltage values via the PFC) and adjust the idle with the 2 idle screws. If you need a hand, let me know. I'm off all week, but I have the kids.

Hey Jeremy, nice to have met you. Here's our local meetup site:
http://rx7.meetup.com/55/

UIM removal tutorial:
http://www.clubrx.org/default.asp?id...ntent=63&mnu=5

If you have a moment, you might want to play with the idle adjustment screw that I showed you to try to calm down the engine surging till the UIM gasket gets replaced.

They can be rebuilt , alot cheaper than buying a new one . I have a set of front , but they are getting ready for powder coating and going up for sale--- E bay . Let me know if I can help , and if you are looking for help with the idle problem , contact 20B3rd gen . I'd try to help , but my schedule is totally crazy right now and I dont want to hold you up . Pm me if I can help I try to check this site daily.

Jerry , you finally got some pics up ,, hahahah thanks a ton Hope to see ya at the meet .

ok guys, I need a master power window switch for a s5 vert. I havent decided which car I will drive home from tennessee, but if I drive the vert, I will need a swtch ASAP, since the window wont go up and with rain, well, you guys know the drill. Anyway this car is sweet, all black, paint looks great, buts has some hail damage, nothing major and the inside looks like it was never driven. So if any parts guys have one, I think I have an s4 switch back in virginia, so if it works then I will be good. I will be at the meet on the 12, as long as I dont have duty.

i jacked up the rear end and had the ebrake off so see what was wrong with my rear end and i could barely turn my rear passenger wheel. feels like turning a lugnut almost. i got a shop to take the caliper off and see if they could fix it but they said pretty much i need a new one or get that one rebuilt. but i just ordered a new one. should get here friday.
