yah.. slight change of plans brought on mainly by the IRS.

had to sell off all the 'go-fast' stuff, so now i'm making it 'go-slow' isntead.

i had not made any changes to the harness, they would have been minimal.

ps. fwiw - i'm going to be putting a granny's ford v8 aod conversion kit on ebay soon.

it has new driveshaft, new motor mounts and new trans mount included, with directions.

I'd like to get $300+ shipping, it's worth probably over $600 with all the parts included.

no idea if aod is same config as t5, probably not if i had to guess. it could be modified i'm sure. the crossmember can be mounted in any location fore/aft the car. that would not be an issue, the driveshaft may need to be shortened/lengthened however.

A Mustang uses the same trans crossmember with a T5 or an AOD, so that could probably work.

Ok I had 2 people who read this thread regularly tell me they have not seen the announcement to be at Hooters on Battlefield Blvd in Chesapeake Saturday May 8th at 4PM. Everyone show up, it sounds like there will be a decent turnout of RX7 people.

Very few of us here have ever met face to face, so you will be in with just like everyone else there. Whoever gets there first tell the hostess to point anyone that asks about RX7's over in our direction.

I don't really have any RX7 or rotary engine T-shirts or hats or anything, but if someone does, we'll make them visible so anyone there can find us. It is not football season, so this time on a Saturday afternoon it should not be too crowded. One thing nice about this Hooters is the parking lot adjoins a shopping center that is not usually very busy out behind the Hooters. SO id we happen to get 20 cars, we can probably easily park in a group behind the place.....

Phooka will probably be driving his Mustang, but give him a break, he is in the process of building his rotary.... The engine is totally apart right now, but he thinks he might drive it there Saturday.... We'll see..... he is afterall such a slacker .............

Yah - like calvin said - I'm building mine, so I think I might be in the 'tang. I'm not making good progress today... we'll see what happens.
