I done several auto to manual swaps, including my rx-4. I can't give you a price unto I see whats left and what you have done, but I will help if I can. I can drive out and see what you have left to do if you'd like. Give a me PM with you number and I'll give you a call. The only thing I'm doing today is going to Pick-N-Pull.

This is where our events are currently kept up to date:

http://rx7.meetup.com/55/

That site had the tools to easily post events..... The details for the event are not final. Check there and you will know what is happening.

In the near future, this will be our only web site:

http://www.hamptonroadsrotaryclub.com

But to be honest I need to spend more time on the hampton roads rotary club site.

You need to check if your exhaust is not clogged up, you cats might be bad, plugging your engine causing it to overheat. Disconnect your exhaust. The ghetto way of fixing it is to gut/hollow out all your cats..........You are lucky it didn't catch fire.

I guess I find it really strange to me that those carbs work on a rotary. I used to have several of them, but I sold them off to guys with Morgans and TVRs.

I'd suggest at least giving Dale Blankenship a call at the Maaco on Pembroke. He owns a first gen RX7, and is an autocrosser and a friend of mine (feel free to tell him that I sent you there) for more than 25 years. Hw is a member here, but doesn't visit that often and on hamptonroadrotaryclub.com. They can do really good work there. Not exactly car show quality, but it will be fairly priced and he will give you your money's worth. I don't have the phone number, but it is on whitepages.com
