Congrats dude!

I went to Lowes and found some paint stripper. Commin' off pretty easy now. I wonder how hard it would be to polish it myself.....

What is the stripper you used? (the stuff that removes the paint, not Bambi or whatever name is popular amongst them these days).

It's gel in a can called Jasco. It sticks to the paint and then the pain just bubbles up. Slick stuff.

Polish or Powder Coat

Ok, so I got all the paint off of the IC. However, when I got it off, I started thinkin' it would look really nice polished, but VA does have a powdercoat that looks close to polish.... And I plan on getting some polished hard pipes for the turbos, a GReddy elbow kit, and polishing the UIM a bit myself. Should I polish or powder the IC? Here's some before and after pics:

I want polish, or as close to "polished" as possible. How much would it cost to get polished?

Thanks, I guess I can wait, but you know how it is. Getting new parts you can't install is like finding a new hot girlfriend you can't screw yet.... You can't can't wait to get it in!

Im not a bling guy , i like simple , but good looking , there is too much bling out there now adays , everyone wants polished or chrome stuff ,

what ever floats your boat , this is just what floats mine , hahaha

If wade cant do it in time then powder coat would be no problem , and maybe this weekend if you needed it quick .

What ever you want , we can make it happen .

Actually you do have a good point. Maybe just a bit of powder would look good. Can you send me links to the "silver/polish" stuff you've done so far?

LOL, yeah and I hear that adding vinyl Apexi, GReddy, RB, and K&N stickers to your car will add 15 rwhp to your car!
