LOL, there's a difference between WANT and NEED! I WANT powder coated bling in my engine bay. I NEED IC hoses and NEED to buy equipment to regulate my AFR......

Lovintha7 and I spent ALL day yesterday on the FD. We found that the wastegate controller vac hose was broken, in fact it looks like it hadn't be connected since the rebuild. That probably explains the 13lbs of boost I saw earlier. I'm just thankful that that the IC elbow had the splits in them, else I'm sure the previous owner would have blown the engine....

Anyway, with the new plug wires the car runs smoother and a bit less rich, but still idles high. Chris suggested that it may be a vac hose, so when I get time I'll go over the hoses again.

BTW, anyone have any need for stickers? I've got Banzai Racing, Megan Racing, K&N, and Magnecor stickers free to anyone that wants them. I've also got a Pettit Racing drink cozy.

Dale, how much would you pay for the 12A?

And yes we did spend all day on the FD, but well worth it. I learned alot. I did learn that I will pay someone to change the plugs and wires. LOL, j/k but it is quite involved.

I did however love the experience of driving not 1, but 2 FD's yesterday. I don't get to do that often.

The meet was good and the racing was even better. I met Calvin and a few other guys I would guess probably 30 people give or take. Ashraf didn't even insult anyone! I better explain, I'm a member withe the other Raliegh group. We have had a few insults from both sides and they kinda invited our group as a bury the hatchet type thing IT worked everyone enjoyed themself. Just as two rotors exsist in one engine so can two clubs exist.

Kenny I see you posted in the Steve Kan in deleware thread maybe we could travel together.

Monty are you up and running?

Johny[/QUOTE]

i almost have it running, im getting excited!! lol its starting but its having some trouble kicking over .... im missing some sensors here and there but other then that im not sure what else i could be missing... if i push myself i should be able to get it on the road within the end of this mounth i just ordered the drive shaft so im waiting on that .jonny ill need pics of that hose that starts where the two fuel lines come off the motor i think it might be a vac line but im not sure where it ends up cause it just goes to nothing atm but i think it might be a smog line.

also could u take pics of all the sensors around the motor??
where did you get the block off plates? i want some and what else i need to make that run without a smog crap?

Replying to Johnny too, the meet was great. Of course I love any time I go to a race track. I wrote up an article about it on my blog:

http://racecarstuff.com/ << October 30th post

Along with some so-so pictures:

Bottom line it was a great event. If they do it in a similiar fashion, I am going to drag some of you guys out there next year.

VA - If you pay like $150 you get it in a little over 30 days. I have helped acquiring titlework and it's a pain in the ****! By the time you go to the DMV several times, it would have been easier and more convenient to pay it.
