Talk to Jerry Perez. He might still have body parts from my old S5. Don't remember what shape the bumper was though.

 

I believe I have two sets of bumpers in blue and gold and two passenger fenders. I have other miscellaneous 89-91 parts.

i was wondering if any of you could help me out with my fc turbo cause im not sure what is making it not want to fire up it has spark and fuel but im not sure if it might be the timming is off .do any of you happen to have a timing gun that i could borrow? or look over tmy work to see if maybe i am missing something .PLZ HELP IM LOOSEING MY MIND!!!!

Monty, Check your fuel lines to make sure there correct supply and return. Also check you Crank angle sensor shuold be in this position with pulley on first mark (yellow). Also inject a little oil in the chambers to help compression.

I am in a first gen '85 GSLSE that looks gray, but is actually the blue, but faded with badly peeling clearcoat on the hood and other parts. I have lighthouse Virginia specialty plates. If you see me I have sorta long hair in a pony tail (Sorry, old school throwback).

Ren, this event cost $10 to go, so don't give me the excuse about money.. and you could have even ridden with me, so the gas would have been no issue.

Anyone interested in a decent shape GSLSE with no engine/trans, but basically everything else? I have considered geting rid of the car I have affectionately called Brownie. Good condition car if someone is looking for a project. I even have a GSLSE engine and trans that need rebuilding if you are interested. Solid car, no rust..... Lemme know if you might be intereated. I haven't advertised it yet, but might in the near future.

I was at Pick-N-Pull in Virginia Beach today(10/29/05) (formerly U-Wrench-It) and there is one FC that was on the back row. It is an 87, charcoal gray in color. Engine and tranny are gone but body is in good shape except for a gash in the driver's side door and a dent at the bottom of the driver's side fender. Maroon interior that was in pretty good shape. All glass is in tact at this point and the doors were closed, so maybe it hasn't been rained in. Has the 5 lug brakes but someone had already taken the fronts off. 2 wheels in decent shape were beside the car.

ok the timing is fine on the crank angle sensor i tried to start it up a few times then i notied i leaked some oil on the ground it was coming out from my oil cooler no worries its a easy fix..i just hope i dont flood the motor...i think some of my sensors are not working or have bad grounds cause my dumby cluster isnt lighting up everything only my low coolant and hatch lights are coming on. but other then that all other electrical warning lights seem to not want to come on ....

PS any one know a best way/ correct way to elimanate the emitions crap?? spiders lines and smog pump?? i know i need block off plates but cant find any on ebay...and do anyone know a good place to do custom exhaust at a cheap price?

 

Hey VA, can you tell me how many hoses, what they're made of (silicone or SS), and the brand that you're friend is selling? If you're availible, I can stop by tomorrow at your convienence. Thanks!
