If you have an '87, your better off at Rotary Perf. in West Va. Brett specializes in FBs.

If you are driving that far give this place a thought too. Good, personable guy, and knows his way around rotaries/racecars. Only 2 hrs or so from you.

Can't speak for the others, but Dave at KDR certainly knows his way around a rotary. Just picked up my '90 after getting the engine rebuilt, and the clutch and master cylinder replaced. Still burning in the rebuild, but impressed with his knowledge.
I'm in the Hershey area and his shop is an hour from me off of Rte 78, so that puts him 2 hours from you in York.

Hi gmonsen, good to hear from you. This is very painful to say, but I won't be making it this weekend. I didn't know it when we talked, but it turns out it is my week on-call at work. That means I need to hang close to home all week and weekend.
What a bummer !
How's the 3 rotor running ?

Would KDR be better place to go to rather than Brett at RP for a 94 FD? I just picked one up, i'm in the NoVA area.

I can't answer that for you as I have never dealt with Brett @ RP.

But I can say that I am another person that thinks KDR is a great shop. They rebuilt my engine a couple years ago and did a very good job. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area that needs a rx7 shop (all gens).

if your willing to go as far as MD only about an hour past Fredrick you can get into summit point WV as summit point race way and RP performance is there. they do a lot good work. they make spec miatas and everything. they started as a rotary shop but now they do everything Mazda. im taking my RX7 over there next week to get it dyno tuned. just search RP performance on Google there sight will come up.

i didnt read the other post but i see someone said to go to bret already but they do do good work. Bret built a 2nd gen that lap record at the main circuit at summit point! i work right out there too

Another one for Dave at KDR...now known as Speed 1. Great crew and Dave really knows his stuff. Dave was a Mazda tech before opening up his shop!!! Speed 1 is about a 2.5 hour drive for me and well worth the trip every time.
