Car was hauled off to the scrap yard today...cost 65 for the tow...o well they can't all be free I guess.

 

Did you keep the wing?

 

I wish I could have...PO made an attempt at molding it to the body with bondo for a seemless appearance. It looked pretty good from far away, but it made it difficult to remove with out damaging it further.

 

Really wanted to ****** it up this weekend for a Grassroots Motorsports challenge car.

edit: It was me that called in the afternoon 30 minutes after it was tow

 

Damn. No wonder it got canned. Who the hell would do that?!?!

 

Yeah the three piece wing is hard to come by these days....its a shame

It is what it is...I have an 81 that will get a nice proper build. It would have been nice to have a LE, but I don't like surprises. The PO of that vehicle did ALOT of body work and undercarriage patching. Too much for my liking. I made back the purchase price of that car twice selling off parts in addition to using its parts to build my GLC so I was a justified purchase. Still I would have liked to see a forum member come and scoop it up and get some more out of it. Sorry guys!

 

What yard? It still might be there.

 

No idea...pretty sure it is gone though.
