Damn son...how many threads you gonna start bout this topic?! lol
As I said in the other, Halon's the way to go since it actually consumes the O2 in it's immediate vicinity (don't use in an enclosed space or you may knock yourself out LOL). Plus it's approved for all sorts of fires (electical, fuel, etc) and won't leave a filmy residue that'll destory your parts (what's left).
Re: size, rule of thumb: if it can fit on your A-pillar, it's only for looks
You'll need a 2.5 lb bottle at MINIMUM, realistically a 3 - 5 lb bottle to tackle any real fire that may come your way. You'd be surprised how fast a teeny weeny 2.5 lb bottle will empty
If a 5 lb bottle can't handle it, I'm sorry buddy, you need the fire dept
Halon production has been halted for years IIRC, but it's still legal to USE (recycled). Hence the price. And don't worry, it won't become scarce, since the ONLY type of extinguisher approved for use by the FAA aboard aircrafts is Halon

It is illegal for use in office buildings. I guess when they remove it from the system they fill fire extinguishers with it :P We just built a new datacenter and had to have the halon system removed from the old NOC.

Fightline?
Oh and Halon's badass...that's what they had in T2...when they blew through that room to get John's mom...and needed to wear masks so they don't get knocked unconscious haha.
BTW, you guys might wanna keep an eye on the other thread Doug started in the 3rd Gen section...we may be getting a group buy going on these Halon extinguishers: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/fire-extinguishers-488362/
