Finally got a 7

Sunday i picked up a 87 Turbo II.It has 97K miles on it and is in good condition for the year of it.The engine smokes but i was told it is just the turbo.I am selling the Motor/trans so PM me if you are interested.I bought it to do a swap and put some real power under the hood .Heres a few pictures of the car:

Then heres the soul leaving.

Then heres whats going in to replace the rotory.

nice looking FC...

but um..why not leave the turbo cars for the real enthusiests and swap a blown N/A or something? I mean really..don't expect to make many friends on this forum by 1: insulting the rotary and 2: buying a mint TII to do the swap...

Exactly, not the best way to start on a "rotary friendly" forum.

I am not trying to insult the rotary.I think it amazing how much power you can get out of such a small engine.Buy the time i had everything straightend out with the rotary i would have almost as much money in it as the swap.In the end i will have a car that has 350 HP and gets 26MPG.I went with the TII for the better differential and brakes. If your worried about me killing a turbo car then buy the motor/trans from me and put it in a n/a car.The car is not mint. The RF fender has a dent in it.The hood needs to be repainted and there is a small spot of rust on the sunroof.I bought the car from a guy in Lancaster. The hood is staying on the car.
For those who asked the motor is a LS1 out of a 99 Firebird.

How much for the 13bt engine, ecu and tranny? Hmmm a LS-1 huh? Nice choice of powerplant. I would love to come and see the finished project when you are done.

Lancaster delaware or Lancaster PA? I will be upset if it was Lancaster PA because that's where I live and I never see any 7s for sale in the area. I did happen to find a mint black '90 GXL with 131k on her, picked it up for $800 georges. The funny thing about it was, I was asked to help move a car for a friend of a friend with my F250 and ended up buying it on the spot. His wife didn't want it sitting at their new house, since he has a '06 RX8 now to drive.

I got the car from Lancaster PA.It was in a small storage garage. The guy i bought it from owned it for 7 years.

As for the motor/trans out of the car i would like to get $700 OBO for the whole setup.I dont have any compression numbers but the guy i got the car from said he rebuilt it about 1500 miles ago.It has no power steering and not ac.I will be selling it without a flywheel or clutch setup. It is out of the car so it could be picked up anytime.PM me if interested.
