Im PR and DR, but for some reason i got hooked on the rotarys at 12 years old. After working with some jamaicans and puerto rican guys. And i never looked back.

I drive other cars i give em props but man the rotary is just frigging sexy~

yes, we know you're one of those biased Rotards who can't open their eyes to see that there are other, fully capable vehicles out there. you remind me of the guys on the domestic forums who say "you're driving an import, why are you here?" - yet the forum does welcome owners who have an INTEREST in the vehicles.

i've owned two, and still own piston motors...because the piston motors are more reliable and are better on fuel consumption.

Well if you read up i didnt take the first shots!.

I was told i cant make a valid decision cuz i personally owned 3 vehciles and there all rotarys.

I drive pistons cars as my beaters , but i love my rotary, and i dont care what ya say. I feel rotary > piston. And im entitiled to my opinions and so are you guys. But he took a shot at me without knowing what i drove and didnt drove. I personally had 3 rotarys as my preferences but ive had much more driving time in pistons cuz i use them for all my daily activities. When i take out my rex at night its to go out and have a good time.!

but you've said it yourself - you have beater vehicles. this kid's looking for ONE CAR. JUST ONE. it would be smarter to have something reliable for a first car, rather than something that MOST people have as a "fun" car...particularly in the North East, where winters can be extremely icy.

also, an rx-7 is a totally different kind of car than all the cars on your list. you have nothing that is piston powered that you've driven that is comparable in abilities.

also, this argument really has nothing to do with this thread, he already said he's getting an rx-7 no matter what, it's his decision and I respect that, even though I disagree with it, I've also given my opinion on what type of rx-7 he should get. you didn't answer his question at all.

so basically you have contributed nothing to this thread, but to start a flame war.

Like the title says FB or FC. You guys are telling him to get a reliable car, when hes asking for which one of the two he should get. So in that respect you havent contributed either cuz ure telling him to get a reliable car. I aint fighting with you guys.

I would say get a FC N/a. A clean car, no mods just stock

Thats true, a reliable car like a toyota corolla those things last foever. I only had problems iwth my FC wheni started messing with it. So if you get a nice clean stock FC like i did, dont try to upgrade stuff just maintain it and it will be a great daily driver as mine was until i started MODDING it (if you can call it that)

FC are great daily drivers i used mines for 3 years, driving in the city (queens, brooklyn, mahttan, long island all of that) before i started braking it

I say get the FB, you'll have lots of fun with it, carburated rx-7s are more reliable in my opinion. and they're cheaper, so you have more money for mods/upkeep.
yeah...

I'm 16..I've owned 4 RX-7's. 2 NA FC's, 2 T2's. I am currently working on funding my GTU's rebuild, oh, and wait, I just bought an RX-8.

Paid for it all myself. No help from parents, except for financing. I make all payments, insurance, gas (except when my sister offers), etc.

Don't make assumptions...for all you know, he could be just like me. I started saving the day I turned 14, JUST like he did.

My first car was a 1988 RX-7 GTU. But, the first car I daily drove....Mustang GT. I'm still here!

yea whos says a 16 year old kid cant have his rx7 that he worked hard for and saved up money for? If all the kids in my area can have mommy and daddy buy them nice cars when they turn 16 i think that me buying my own car that i worked hard for shoulnt be a problem. And its not like im gettin a twin turbo fd or even a turbo fc- its gonna be a n/a fb or fc.

After reading everyone's responses i've decided to just test drive a bunch of fbs and fcs that are for sale to figure out wich one i like better. However as far as available parts for modding the car goes and just the styale of the car itself, I'm probably gonna end up buying a n/a s5 if i can get a hold of one in the area.
