VA fall Skyline Drive Cruise

I know its short notice, but I would like to put together a a cruise up Skyline Drive on 10/25/2008. What I have in mind is everyone meet up in the Warrenton area and then we cruise up Rt. 211 up Skyline Drive stop at the over looks. Then get some lunch in Luray and come back down either Skyline Drive or 211 for a faster fun trip home. Any one Intrested let me know. I would like to have a handfull of cars by Thursday to confrim the trip!!

I think im going to move it to Nov. 1st... The weather isnt looking so good for this weekend and no one seems intrested in it so far. I just hope its still a little warm and the leaves are still mostly on the trees.

I should be down for this one. I'll have my sway bar all fixed up and tight for the ride! It'll be the last drive on the old tires before the winter tires go on!

I need to check into a few things on the 7, but I could make it out if there was a definite meeting place.

Wow that map didnt work out like I wanted. (A) on the map is a Blooms store its right off Rt. 211 and has a large parking lot for us to all meet up at. I am open for the time thing we can adjust it as need.

I would love to go as I know it is really beautiful out there but for such a short notice I won't be able to make it out. If you would like to do it again in the spring I would def make it out.

I'm not sure - but I feel that Warrenton would be an easier access to Skyline Drive then Richmond, lol.

Not to mention - Richmond roads break my suspension

I'm not sure if I'll be doing the drive or not yet.

What time would we all meet up? I wouldnt be down until about noon. The ride out to Skyline Drive and back would probably be about 3 hours, which gets me back to town around 4, so that could work, what about you guys?

Well I was mostly going for the scenery and a LOT of pictures... but It looks like I won't be able to make it anyways... The only running 7 (the ugly one) didn't want to start up tonight and I was too tired to try to find out why... Sorry guys... Looks Like I won't be joining you after all...
