Yeah man, Thanks for the car too, I definately got my usage out of it. I think I put a total of about 60k great miles on it with the rotary, and then the LS1.

I always manage to nearly die in every situation I'm in.

Glad to hear you were alright. That guy should have stayed at the scene and made sure you were ok. That sucks about your car but your life is worth alot more than a rx7.

I did. I literally got maybe 6 months driving it, with only about 4 months of that having an actual finished product and daily driving it.

Glad you're okay too Mike, probably better for your boy than anything else. You shoudl try to get him involved with the new car when you get that project goin on. Cars are expendable. I know of an 88 Vert and a GSL-SE down here in NoVA that have beeen sitting in the same spot for a long time if you're interested.

I hope you heal quick buddy.

i know its a stretch but i no someone thats selling an s4 and an s5 (semi parts cars)as a bundle for like 600 they need some work but with a deal like that.....only thing is one of them doesnt have hubs.....hehe....i kinda took them....hehe

im glad to see your well.....it would have been very lonely on the threads that involve: "want an rx7, thinking about puting a v8 in"....who would i argue with? lol

but seriously its good to see you made it out....i hate those people.....always in a rush for the next red light...they should all be forced to use the bus only!!

93 Black/Black complete roller just came home yesterday. with a free picture of my ***. Normally I charge.

Engine is up on the stand getting TSP 2.5 heads, 228R or torquer 3 cam. I have not decided yet but will most likely be 228R with 114LSA for daily status. Also adding melling oil pump, ls7 lifters, possibly an oil pan baffle and a fidanza
flywheel.

Plan on using the samberg cradle, trans mount and rear subframe mount to eliminate the torque arm.

If I stop eating now, I should probably be able to afford the 7000 dollars in parts sometime next month. :hsugh:  Seriously I'm going to button this bitch up before xmas. I'm just elated that there is no bodywork necessary this time. It's clean as hell. Previous owner even re-painted the engine bay very nicely. The fender wells are clean, as if it's never been driven in rain.

Awesome..

BTW. Where are you in Glen Burnie?? We bought the Hess station on RT#2 and wanted to check out your new ride.

Interested in the LS swap and wanted to know how much effort is needed.

Thought I'd share my on going frustration with this mess. I had continued to have pain on my left hand from the accident. So I finally decided to go see an orthopedic doctor (goddamn primary doctor won't even SEE ME for a auto related injury...).

Turns out I tore the ulnar ligament in my middle finger, and chipped a part of the bone. ER doc is a retard that can't read x-rays. Ortho doc showed me the xrays and it's plain as day.

Now my left hand is taped for 1 month and a determination on the necessity of surgery will be made after that. Typing is goddamn impossible with this thing on, thats 80% of my job.
