ohh yea and this is what i was looking at getting http://www.ebay.com/itm/110811347497...=p5197.c0.m619
hmm lets see, day 1 car runs smoothhhhh, day 2 turbo starts leaking oil, day 3 downpipe welds start cracking due to excesive heat, day 4 intercooler pipes start leaking idk how but w.e, day 5 PING!!!! detonation goodbye motor, day 6 girfriend leaves u because u dont have a car to pick her up, day 7 you loose your job because you dont have a car to get to work, day 8 you become homeless, day 9 while you sleep in the street a guy in an rx7 with a real turbo 2 engine blowz by you splashing dirty water on your face, day 10 you commit suicide because you didnt pay 1000 extra bucks to get a t2 engine,, yup that sounds about right
Stay the @#%$ away from any Chinese knock-off turbo kit, even ones that are sold as or look like real ones from Garrett, Mitsu, etc. Unless the seller can prove the pedigree of the snail you're buying, don't.

Well u know what if I had the money to do that then I would have bought a t2 to start with so if you have nothing to say about the subject of the thread then stfu and keep your opinion to yourself
You asked for what other people think. If you can't take other people advice on saving money than don't post anything on this site. No need to get all pissed off because people are trying to help you out. Go buy a ebay kit and tell us how that worked out for you. lol

Himni makes proper kits for the turbo2. http://www.himni-racing.com/index.ph...ath=229_63_161
The easiest route to turbo your car would to buy a complete 13bt engine and swap the components onto your keg.
What are you looking for? Ps stay off eBay. That's the best advice I can give. It's just bad news.

Keep telling other users to 'stfu' and you won't have a choice in the matter

Not to mention that just by starting this ridiculous thread (which has been covered about 10 times before) you're asking (begging really) to have people flame you.
Try and be a little friendlier. Thanks much
put away the money and save up to do it right the first time, a full t2 swap would be smarter, cheaper and save you a hassle, why waste money and possibly risk blowing your motor. it'll cost you more to rebuild after you spend all the time and money turboing an n/a with a cheapo ebay turbo.
You are better off building a motor little by little then trying to convert your na to turbo. In the long run you'll save yourself from a big headache. It mite take a little while to build it but at least you'll still be driving. Don't blow your motor cause that's very easy to do. Just my $.02. GL
Have you ever built a turbo car? Do you know what is involved to make power?
I ask because your comments are really leaning in the direction that you haven't. You really need to spend some time researching and reading about proper setups.
This is an awesome hobby. Some things you can effectively do with a budget minded approach, and some things you can't. You would be MUCH better off converting your NA engine with a TII turbo, instead of buying an ebay kit. Of course, you would be better off selling your NA car and buying a sorted TII. Have you read Aaron Cake's site?
As far as money goes.... if you can't afford a proper TII swap, stick with NA cars. It gets way worse. One little mistake with boost can cost you thousands. A well ported NA engine is fun and reliable. Nothing wrong with it.
