Update: Lodging at Nantahala is booked up, unless there are cancellations. There are some nice cabins around the area but the road leading to them aren't really FD-friendly. Garrett/G's third gen snagged the last room at Nantahala, I believe there are rooms still available at Fontana Village, which isn't too far away.

Ray Crowe found lodging with a friend of his and my brother and I found lodging as well. Gio/Amp is going and he worked out lodging as well

Good news on my end, my work meeting was scheduled for April 21st so I'll be able to leave early thursday to get to the event early friday.

Damari, you should come down! You wouldn't regret it, it's a blast

 

damn, i didn't get a place to stay because i still don't have the car together. now even if i get the car together in time, it looks like theres no where to stay...

 

Just sleep in the whip. I'm sure your big frame would be fine sleeping in the car after suffering through a 10 hour ride to get there.

 

i mentioned up above that there is lodging available at Fontana Village. Also i'd be willing to be there will be room in some of the cabins, i wouldnt worry too much about it Roen

 

I really would like to go to this but my FD is still in FL. Maybe I could come & ride along with someone? Anyone have an extra seat open in case I can't bring my own FD?

I wish I could make this trip with you guys. While I fully expect to have my car finished by the 12th of April there is no way I can turn around in 4 days and expect to drive it to Georgia, then 2 weeks later to Indianapolis for Seven Not Stock. I have wanted to go to this event every year and every year I'm either not done yet from the winter down time or work has me tied up.

Take lots of pictures! and if anything changes between now and the 16th I'll let you know. I may be a last minute attendee.
