Great pics and great videos Derek, thanks for posting them up. Sounds like you need a wind sock or remote mic for the high wind conditions though. High wind audio is the worst part about gopros imo.

Also, thanks to everyone for showing up. I know I had a good time and was happy that you all decided to wait 2 extra weeks. Too bad the weather was cold, but at least no rain.

I had no idea it would be that bad with the noise. That is the same gopro I used on one of my rc planes and it was not anywhere near that bad for some reason.

Yup, def good times on Sunday, I was especially impressed by the little bit of SNOW we got at the first stop!!

I haven't been up on the skyline as of late. But the local paper said they are just starting to turn. So if you plan it in a few weeks should be good. Food wise, Two Fat Butchers are doing brisket on the weekends. Need to try out the local brew pub to see if it's any good.

 

That was the spring cruise though, skyline drive and stopped at two fat butchers....
