For non-local folks - Despite Annapolis on flyer, the area is actually Annapolis Junction designation, just north of where I live in Laurel, Rt.32 & Rt.295 area. Last night's NBC local 10 day forecast had the only chance of rain as Sunday 10/8, lol.

 

That is kind of why I listed as I probably would skip the cruise as I will for sure be at this meet the entire time, but of course there is time before and after as well to hang out with the peeps.

Hey Eddie, keep checking here. There will be a final decision made once Mother nature confirms her plans. We don't go in the rain so later in the week we may wave off if the forecast stays bad.

If we end up running it this Saturday then I may give Adam (Afgmoto) the keys to my Miata and see if he wants to tag along for the skyline cruise in my place since he'll be in town and I'll be in class until approx noon.

 

Yea, don't feel obligated to do that show. Right now it doesn't mention rain, but the show is a rain or shine event due to being a parking garage. It was $10 to spectate and like 25-35 to do the show, but if you go to the page and put elite as the coupon code it gives $5 off, and military is free with id. I've already registered for a top level spot anyway and will probably bring a canopy just in case.

I guess we need the rain around here but it's coming at a highly inconvenient time.

I'd be up for a short(er) meet and greet at a local brew pub if the official drive gets cancelled. Most of us may have blocked out Sunday anyways and rescheduling a full drive later on may get complicated.

Well, looks like Mother Nature is a B*tch. Right now the Forecast is calling for 80% chance of rain on Sunday. I think we are going to have to push to next week. Sorry to all those affected and left out, not what I wanted to do.

Sorry Duc, if I schedule something else it is highly likely that people may show up at one and bail on the other cause they just saw everyone. We are going to shoot for the 15th for the cruise unless the forecasts determine that we need to go 14th. Right now both days are clear.

If anyone is free on Saturday though, I am scheduled to do an autoX in Waldorf. Everyone is always welcome to come watch/ride along.
