Would you dare meet this winter? no snow yet (at least in NYC area) so let's have a meet on Apple Bees in Jersey City on February 2. If the weather is good by then who's coming out!!!!

Oh yeah on 440 right next to the Pep-Boys they opened an Apple Bee's there In the Hudson Mall

 

LOL i know i was kidding, i know where it is. My friend used to work at pepboys there but ever since he quit, i stopped going to that area.

That would be a good idea for a meet, perhaps on a sunday afternoon? Because 440 + night = get ready to be robbed or stabbed or something lol

 

why not come out on tuesday night like we do every week?

You funny, i don't think they go afer 7's. There are hardly any 7's out here. Mostly Honda's and Nissans. You heard about the kid that got shot by Dunkin Donuts about 3 years ago? (not to scare anyone)

 

i'm down, i go 2 applebees like everyother month,but now that their menu starts at 12.99 for a 3 course meal you can't beat it so i down! chrism lets do it! local tuesday night crew!

Well not only about them stealing our cars but mostly like breaking into them to take interior parts (if you have aftermarket stuff in there).

And yes i know all about 440 and its past, i used to go there often back in the day. The accidents, the cops, people getting robbed at gun point. My friend got his yellow type r stolen at gun point RIGHT IN THE LOT where we were all hanging out.

Long story short. It was a semi packed lot, we were just standing in front of our cars and these 2 kids approached my friend and said, straight up, "yo give me this ****". My friend looked at the kid who said it and went " lol yeah ok". The kid pulled out his gun from his inner pocket of his jacket and said again "give me this ******* ****!"

He wasnt yelling or anything and no one knew because everyone was in their own group just talking. He just calmly came up to my friend and said in a regular speaking voice to give him his car. My friend,as shook as he was, gave him the keys and stepped to the side. Of course all of us (5 in total) were all in shock too as he started it and left normal, like it was his car.

After that, my other friend had to call the cops because my friend whos car got stolen was basically frozen in his spot, he was just saying "omg omg, dude what the **** just happened? omg omg what am i gonna do?"

So yeah that was one of the few crazy drama i have experienced going there. Never again will i do that in that area. That area is a damn jungle.

we meet up in east rutherford......and i try not to chill on 440..havent in years....

 

is there alot of constabulatory patrols around there?

they like to pull me over for random reasons

You mean at the apple bees by the airport plaza? i have been there once. I could go there.

Back in the days, when ave. P was the spot i used to roll there, but then it started getting out of hand. People showing up with stolen cars, wrecking the cars and then i stopped going there. After i heard what happened to the kid in Donkin Donuts i totally stopped going there. I would just drive by with my pick up and look around. Apple Bees is away from where the team Front Wheel Drive (that's what i call them) is at. They would usually meet infront of the R&S strauss and they don't usually meet until after 10pm or so. Sorry to hear what happened to your boy.

If you guys feel JC is not safe then lets do it in Rutherford off 1&9 by the airport plaza. I think that's also where the Evo's meet.

 

My mistake, I was thinking about it and rutherford is no way near 1&9. I was thinking about Rahway i know that they do meets over there too, in the airport plaza.

i've been to DD on 440 and i never withness something like that,but i did see some car crashes,and thats only on the weekends,i would say, if you look like a chomp,you might chomped,but no ones messing with RX7's,these young kids only know F&F,and civics.

 

I got my seven out today and what a ride... i loved it... i'm going to be driving it everyday and just park my truck... So what's the deal, we going to meet this Saturday or what? come on guys, let's meet up...

 

Same here, i took my car out this afternoon, played with alot of cars on the highway.. Too bad there was more traffic than a usual sunday afternoon so i couldnt open it like i wanted to. Maybe next sunday will be less traffic.
