yea... it would have had a rotary in it if the rules of the competition allowed, but unfortunately they are just too competitive (although they were allowed for a few years when it first started)

hah, yea, i fail. James posted the best time, and shiann would have had about a 45 on his first run but the starting gate didnt register when he passed. He didnt get another shot at it. In our defense tho, the guys who prepped & brought the car didnt really fill the coolant system, and it overheated while i was in it on the line (there were HUGE bubbles in the coolant system) so i didnt actually get a run in. actually, i havent even gotten a chance to drive it b/c of various issues, and i designed the chassis, suspension, a good deal of the steering, and mainly built and tuned the megasquirt controling it. Sucks, but thats life.

My run (im Pete btw) was in a pontiac vibe GT with really, really crappy tires. i ran it past the event organizers and they let me run, even tho it was a different car with the number i registered for the FSAE car. I just wish i had brought my 7 out there, but it was up on stands for an FMIC/koyo rad/resurfaced brake disks/new wheels & tires/turbo replacement/vac line reroute/LIM broken bolt removal...

The blue and red 7's with the LS swap sounded awesome out there, and looked like they were really hauling ***.
