Arrow Anyone get their FD towed in LI last night?

I dunno how big of a deal this is but I know I would be upset so I figured Id post it just incase.
I was sitting at a red light on Sunrise Highway lastnight and something caught my eye. On the other side of the road there was a wrecker style tow-truck(hooks with one end hoisted and other rolling) flying down sunrise, he had to be doing 70-80ish. I was like "wow" then to my shock and suprise I see what appeared to be a very clean black FD being pulled behind it. It was hoisted by the rear wheels and the front was getting tossed around, jumping and bucking with every bump and pothole in the road.

First thing that popped into my head"the owner needs to know". I was pissed and it wasnt even my friggin car. Well it may not be anything to you, hell the owner may have been in the cab, but just incase I thought Id share this with you.

Sounds possible, hope its not the case. The only thing that makes me think against it is the fact that it was only around 6:30pm but that really doesnt mean much.

I only know of one BB Fd in LI, and he wouldn't let his FD get towed unless it was a flatbed.

Yea thats usually how cars get stolen around here. They get scooped up rather quickly with those trucks.

It literally takes 5 seconds at times. Here at work, if a vehicles is parked without proper I.D., we have trucks that just come around and "relocate" them. I've seen everything from SUV's to light cars taken within 5 seconds and gone.
