Anyone With A Datalogit Want To Meet Up Around Pa?

Hey all,

Have a 93 FD with a TD06-20g, upgraded fuel, Power FC/Commander, fmic on a new engine that is just broken in. It's been run with no w/g spring since the rebuild, and I'm almost ready to pop the spring in and begin some tuning. I am training on engine management systems and wondered if someone would be willing to meet with me so that I could tune/learn myself as opposed to tuning at a shop. Would anyone be willing to meet or to loan me their datalogit (with a $300 deposit of course) so that I could tune my car? I would buy a datalogit myself but all the shops/stores have backorders and it could be fall/winter before I got a chance to tune.

If anyone would be willing to help me out, I'd be greatly appreciative. I'm in the Reading, PA area and would be willing to drive up to an hour to meet someone.

i have a datalogit that i can let you borrow..... i can bring it to rotorfest if you want.

in all honesty though, if i were you, i'd get intouch with scrub and see if steve kan can tune your car the day of rotorfest or day before in delaware. you seriously do not wanna blow up your fresh motor. plus, once you're tuned you wont need the datalogit anymore

Mike - replied to your PM! I will certainly give you a call.

cmartinp28 - Thanks a lot for your offer. I am very interested in going to rotorfest but I'm not sure if I can make it. However the car isn't ready for the road yet (half way through replacing the suspension and need to order a battery and decide on ordering a tray or relocating it to a bin or trunk). If I get the suspension in, the car technically runs fine (although rich) but it's not inspected (don't know if I'll ever find someone to put a sticker on this one, haha) so I'm hesitant to break it out for a long trip. Did you do your own tuning or did you have Steve do it and then maybe tweak it a little afterwards?

i had Dragon from japan, sent me a map to get my car running.... then he came here to the US to fix whatever needs to be fixed, and to tune my car... but unfortunately my wastegate wouldnt open!!!

so he tuned it enough for 10lbs to 6000rpm, i did a lil more stuff to the car to **** up the tuning.... resonator, ignition, and added premix. so now steve kan is tuning the car while he's at rotorfest.
