Any knowledgeable engine builders in va near richmond?

I'm sorting out my options for my car and I really think I should rebuild with all my best parts instead of "chancing it" on my spare engine.

I'd like to find someone local with knowledge in rebuilding, I want to rebuild it myself with assistance if possible so I could do most of the work myself or assist the builder in the entire process so I can learn to do it without making a fatal mistake.

My engine is an 1987 turbo , I'll have two blocks to take the best parts from both should have a good amount of usable parts.

So is it safe to say no one in va builds engines?

Even if there's a local who isn't a builder but has built their own that could help me that'd be great.

I rebuilt my 12A with the help of the Haynes Manual and engine assembly lube. When you start let me know. I usually have some spare time on the weekends only. I will pm you my phone number.

I had mine rebuilt at RP Performance in Summt Point WV. Good shop. There's also a guy in Roanoke, VA that rebuilds Rotaries "Rotary Life and Performance" if you google it. Other that that, don't know anyone in Richmond area.

Come up to NJ, we currently have about 15 rotary-powered cars at the shop. We specialize in porting and high-powered builds

How much do all these places charge for a rebuild?

Im trying to see if I can collect all the parts I'll need for rebuild and see if I can get it done for labor charges.

I know one guy said jpr imports does it for $675 as he recalls.

Also I'm going to keep my car stock ports, if I did get it ported it'd only be a small/mild port.
