Does anyone have any hookups on hotels in New York? If not, any advice on where to stay so that I'm not paying too much but yet I'm still close enough to the city and main attractions?

im 90 miles from the city and i have a couch! going rate on my couch nightly is 25 bucks... sorry. just check hotels.com they should be able to save you money and will give you a location. my couch is still up for grabs though.
