I know this is kind of an old thread but I just wanted to let you know Im in corinth right off of exit 16. Im running an 88 turbo II with some mild modifications.

 

Nice guessing the one in your pic cool hope to see you out the following season I will be done with my project to the point where it will be daily driven and i will be at all local events to come.

Is there a meet there usually? We should have an Albany area meet before the 7's go into storage for the winter. I've met racethesun and I met a girl with a FB on Sunday at the SCCA race... but I don't know any other 7 owners in the area. I've got a black s5 with a flat black hood... but I usually keep it in the Troy area since I don't fully trust it yet with the new mods.

 

there is a general automotive meet there every friday and saturday night at McDonalds right by Kohls. Ill probably be there one of the nights of it not raining.

 

ya I have ben going to Kohl's for years now I've ben there with my grand national , pro street camaro,civic si, ITR and my rotary 89 GTU there are qwite a few people that go out but a lot of dumb asses everyone thinks there 96 honda accord is street race worthy lol good for a laugh but gets annoying! next time one of you plan on going down Ill swing by in my P71 Police Interceptor and meet ya! unfortunately my 700HP Fc is in the shop right now so P71 is what im driving daily

 

Yeah we should definitely do something. My 7 is still difficult to drive after I crashed it last month (ugh, long story) but as long as it's during the day (no headlights installed yet since accident) and someone can give me a jump when we part ways (bad battery connection also since accident) I'm definitely down! Haha. I've never been to Central on Fridays because I'm always workin but some friends of mine go and have a good time. Now all I need to do is find some spare time to fix this thing!

 

Just take the R32 instead... that thing is sick. If you need help with the 7 let me know... I'm in the area again.

 

i didnt think they did the car meet at kohls anymore 2 years ago the idiots were lighting fires in the dumpsters and the police wouldnt let anyone meet there
and last year they still patrolled it and wouldnt let you meet there as well
i just figured this year was the same but maybe they are lax now and all the idiots dont show up

im all for a mini meet in albany however before this happens someone needs to lend me about 10K so i can finish my car

I love how no one can bring their 7 because its not on the road or its messed up.
well I have no sun roof right now but as long as its not raining I could meet there in a couple weeks. I would definitely like to meet some of you guys. I really need some advice for my turbo upgrade.

HEY, all i really need to do to drive mine is put in a new battery! headlights, a bent fender, cracked bumper, moving the battery to the back... PSSH, those are all aesthetics anyway! haha. trust me, if there's an albany meet-up before this nice weather is done, i'm kickin that rotary engine over and driving my beast there!

im not gonna lie if parts are missing off your car after the meet you may want to just look in the back of my civic.....

but nonetheless we could meet up and cruise to the bear mountain meet on the 12th or have a meet on the 19th or something....

 

where is that

 

Bear Mtn is just south of Newburgh which is exit 17 on the Thruway
Its a little over an hour drive from Albany
We could all meet near my place ( Theres an easy to find parking lot and easy on/off access to 787) and then cruise from here if your interested in doing that

 

it think if we drive down together we should take the taconic, it would be way more fun.

 

oh yeah, the last bear mountain meet! i had forgotten all about that! damn, this gives me a closing window of time to get my act together haha. new battery location and wiring HERE WE COME!

 

Hopefully within a month or two my car will be to the point where I can at least get some time behind the wheel before she goes in the body shop for the winter upgrades! You would think.

I had to take the 7 off the road early due the law not being too crazy about my 3 in exhaust pipe.

I wish I had enough money to just pay the ticket and run it loud.

Oh well, hopefully there will be something in the spring.


Well maybe I can scare something up, I may be able to get my hands on a 7.

 

theres a nice vert for sale in pittsfield mass, about 30 min drive from albany.....he was asking 3K for it a few months back im sure at this point hes lowered it

also i think there is a red fc not sure the specs but it is for sale in the east greenbush area
