Question StreetPort Options

hey i was jus wondering wat is the biggest streetport you can do on a s4 n/a 13b? the largest street ports i know are large and extended..
and if an extended streetport is the biggest possible streetport? then how bad is the overlap?
is there a lumpy idle characteristic in this port job?
i would just like for someone to elobarate on this port job because ive searched and i couldnt find anything specific...
also some pictures of large/extend streetports would really help=]

streetports, extend ports.... just largely used terms for sideports without eyebrow(bridgeport...) and S4 N/A is 6 port-not much gain from streetporting... Overlap will depend on your intake opening(agressive streetport around 15° ATDC, most streetports not such early) and exhaust closing-very much opinions on this subject...I´m saying don´t port downward to expansion stroke, go up for overlap-overlap is good Streetport will give slight lump at idle, but nothing like bridgeport-peripheral port...

you can get decent gains from a streetport on those engines. personally, the 6-ports that i've done don't idle any different from stock. i'm sure some people can get them to lope, but i've never tried. the one streetport that i've heard lope a little was a siamesed port engine and i wasn't the one that ported it. if you're considering a streetport, i'd say go for it.

check THIS out.

yea im lookin for a port with the most overlap without the bridge
i want at least 180hp with i/h/e
i don know about those siamese ports they havent been proven to make any hp
but i really want the lumpy idle in a street form..i guess the only to get this is by doing a extreme/monster extend port,is this possible? and how much is too much for a extend port?

You can only open the intake ports so far without going to bridge so in order to increase overlap you'll need to port upwards on the exhaust ports. Arizona Rotary Rockets has a race exhaust port that removes the sleeve, makes the port absolutely massive, and then presses a new ring sleeve back in. It looks goofy as hell but makes tons of power.

It wouldn't matter. Either way you'd remove the factory exhaust sleeves and replace them.
