Just Bought RB exhaust.. Need advice

I just bought a racing beat exhaust system. Came with a downpipe, silencer, y-pipe and cans. Can I use the stock headers and just bolt on the system or do I need to get RB headers too?

it depends on what you bought.

if you bought this http://www.racingbeat.com/RX7-1986-1...ems/16425.html

which is 3" pipe, then nothing will fit on an NA without custom work.

if you bought anything else, the cat back part will bolt up and you either need the NA downpipe/presilencer thing or a header/presilencer

I'm looking to install it sometime this week. Is it worth it to do the mods or should I buy another exhaust system?

probably better to buy another. the turbo back is 3" pipe, everything else is 2.5" the flanges are different and they are in different places too, so its not really close

Yea I decided to sell it. I have a "for sale" thread up for it. I guess it wasn't a revII it is a much older model that is suppose to be better. Check out the thread. https://www.rx7club.com/west-sale-wanted-classifieds-195/racing-beat-89-91-turboii-revtii-complete-exhaust-system-980927/

the older ones like yours are 80mm pipe vs the new one being 75. the Y i better on yours as well.

there are at least 6-8 different variations of the system, depending on when it was made. you've got the late style pre revII unit. the earlier ones have a different muffler construction and tips and stuff.

Are you saying that the one I am trying to sell right now is better than the RevII? How much should this system sell for? Am I asking too much for them at $850?
