How much power from 6 port

Im wondering how much power you guys have all made with N/A 6port motors, they are cheap, plentiful, and easy to build. We all know rotarys arnt like pistons, where it cost millions of dollars to build a high Hp N/A motor, its as simple as porting, intake, exhaust, computer, tuning, etc, all things you'd probably get when building a turbo car. so what are your numbers?

HP:
Torque:
1/4 mile:
MPH:
things worth pointing out (mods, etc):

and anything else you might want to add

so fellow N/A lovers/broke people on the never ending power strugle, What say you?

i've done a couple ITS setups (we were always looking for more power).

we used junkyard engines, stock port, S5 rotors, S4 intake, header, ECU

hp 155. we road raced it.

adding the turbo center iron did nothing, the turbo exhaust sleeves didn't do anything noticeable either

we could have gained by using new rotors/housings. the exhaust probably could have been better, we did a 26" long header with nice gradual bends into a 3", but who knows if 26" was the right length!

we never really did a proper back to back with the S5 intake either.

If you're going to build a 6-port, build it for HIGH revs, meaning you're going to spend a lot of money... because the end ports close too late to make any meaningful low- or mid-range compared to a 4-port.

My guesstimate is, a 6-port needs 1000-1500 more RPM to make the same power as a 4-port, but the 4-port will still accelerate better.

That's not to say they aren't worthless - they're still engines, and 180hp is still fun. They just won't ever be as good.

Me, I'm cheap, and RPM is expensive. My GSL-SE block is going to be reverted to 4-port status, since my cheapness keeps me under 8000rpm and the late port closing keeps the engine from doing anything useful below 6000.

hmm, it IS expensive to build a high HP N/A rotary.

Cheap, reliable, power. Choose two.

or choose 1.... we used to run ITS, and we used to be cheap, so we'd run junkyard engines with new water seals, stock port, stock intake (per the rules) we built a header, and ran a haltech that was a warranty return....

this combo runs for about a season, makes ok power, and was cheap....
