if you want to make over 200whp give me a call 954-825-8288 or send me a email you are on the right track with going to a stand alone.the intake may help it may hurt but i can tell you the set up we do on the scca e-production cars (ported 6-port with stock ported intake stock t-body) make between 205-230whp with my mid pipe expansion chamber exhaust and proper tuning.the power curve is also almost flat from 7000 to past 10.5-11k

the most i have seen is low 180 range on stock port stock intake and t-body maybe
after market intake and t-body might give some more but i think 200whp will be hard.you could just get a renisis make 200whp all day long

That is why Aaron Cake and myself both said the mytical 200whp. For all we know my intake manifold may not flow more air then is required for 160whp, or it could be the key to hit that magical 200. Only time will tell. I started to work on the haltech today but dont have plans to dyno/tune till after jaunary.

back to welding aluminum if done correctly, the filler should actually be drawn into the molten puddle and don't really have to push it all the way in unless you have a smaller filler size than what you should be using ... if done correctly it should look like this:

However, pushing the filler deep into the puddle gives you better penetration. Not that it matters for things like plenums and tubing though...

DCSP w/helium for the win!
