I just don't want to get into something I can't accomplish. It's awful to end up with a lawn ornament,no money,and no transportation.

That and I want to see if semi peripheral is a realistic option for me.
And I still don't know if a 12a is a viable option either,never got a real answer on that

Second answer in this thread answered what you asked about.

And you will have plenty of down time on a project like this, so planning on having it as your only mode of transport is not a good plan.

Well I was never told about how it stacks up power wise,parts cost,reliability etc.

And yes,I do plan on buying a cheap 500$ car for transport before I start modifying.

They told you a pp could be done for around 200$ more than a normal rebuild, + intake and tb.
