Halfbridge(real bridges with notched housings)
Pinned, balanced S5 turbo(thicker plates) keg with OEM everything inside.
3 window bearings higher pressure oil regulators.
Custom modified Xcesive third gen lower intake with third gen upper on a single 90mm
throttle body.
divided manifold with TURBONETICS 76MM 1.15 AR divided f68 exhaust wheel.
4 1600cc plus 2 1000cc combo.

It will idle as low as 1400 but sometimes when you stop it does not want to catch idle or idles funny(feels like it wants to die but it wont) and i have to play with the gas a little to get it to idle,so cause of that my idle is set a 1800 so i wont have that problem.

What injectors are you trying to idle on?

The only thing I don't like about using the 680s is idling... having the engine running that quickly while still only requiring just enough fuel to keep itself turning means that the low duty cycle required (about 4-5% for me, at idle) means pulsewidth times are a lot shorter. It's less of a problem if the idle is lower, or you have an engine that is more tolerant of a lean mixture or is under more load so it won't dirty the spark plugs from running rich. As it is, it is an extremely narrow window between too lean and too rich, as opposed to a regular side port engine that can pretty much run on anything you feel like giving it.

Reducing ignition timing at idle helps immensely. It simultaneously increases the load on the engine and reduces vacuum so you get less exhaust diluting the air coming in, so the engine runs cleaner and can idle lower.

That said I did try a big single throttle on a TII manifold (street ported engine) and idle was harder to achieve and it wrecked part throttle and low-mid range power without boosting the top end much. It maybe felt faster because there was less power everywhere else. So, you may be fighting multiple issues there...

Take it easy turbo, the last time you did that you blew the motor and look how long we have waited. I can't wait that long again.

and here is the same tune with a s4 intake. i did not know intakes made that much of a differance i will post dyno numbers soon comparing both but the s4 feels SO much better than the s5 all around on the freeway i barely have to touch the gas pedal to hold the same speed
