I would recommend Black Label Performance in Colorado Springs. Mike and Mark (owners, Mike is a tech and Mark is front office, they both know A LOT about A LOT lol). They specialize in Supras, but I just took my FB to them and they diagnosed my stuck injector ($60) and installed my pain of a clutch (pilot bearing seized, burnt up disc, throw out ruined, just a completely dead clutch in any way you could think that is going to try and throw you a curve ball in every way before you're done replacing it). They also helped me find new injectors, and after my brother having his Supra there, I can't really say that there's anything bad about them. They don't have a dyno, but can street tune it and I've heard no complaints from anyone. I think they also have a deal going with a local dyno shop to use their facilities and do power tunes, but I have no idea on that. If you want to wait until next year they should have gotten the new shop and expanded with a dyno by then. Performance Auto Parts | Colorado Springs | Black Label Performance
Other than that, I've heard good things about Revolutions, but have no first hand experience. I have seen some cars come out of there though and they're done up pretty well.
I would personally stay away from Mac Tuning in Parker, but that's just me. I don't like their service and have only heard "The work is good" from people who have gone there. Almost everyone has said that they're not that personable and that if they didn't do such good work and have the ability to tune and dyno, that they'd find someone else to do the work.

Does anyone know of a good shop for aftermarket rotary work anywhere on the front range? It seems like all the old specialists have gone out of business, packed up shop, or stopped working on rotaries. E.g. Rotary Specialists, Jim Berg, etc...
Here are a couple places I've found from other recommendations, but have no reason to trust them:
MoFab
Precision Import Repair
Black Label Performance
Does anyone have a personal recommendation of someone they've actually worked with? Where do you guys take your cars when you're stumped or don't have time to work on them?
I have a FC S5 TII heavily modified with AEM (see sig). It mainly just needs some tuning, but there may be some ignition problems too. I'm just looking for someone who knows what they're doing with rotaries. I used to do all the work on my car myself, but I don't have the time for that anymore.
I'm considering selling it if I can't find anyone in the state who can get it done quickly/painlessly.
Thanks guys!

Again, I say hit up BLP Performance Auto Parts | Colorado Springs | Black Label Performance. They will get it taken care of for you. I've used them for my FB, my brother has taken his Supra to them exclusively, I'm even going to make my mom take her Alero to them when things break on it. They are the best all around shop in the Springs.
Grid-1 Motorsports builds race RX-8's and Mr. Walker really knows what he's talking about, haven't had a chance to get up that way though.
However, if you want to sell... I may be in the market depending on price.

No, I understand completely. I wasn't sure about Black Label, but after all of the work done on my family's cars already, I can honestly say that I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch them. My brother's doing a 2JZ swap on his MKIII and they're going to do all of the hard work (wiring, tuning, etc.) on it. I'm also considering a 3-rotor build for my disassembled S5 and they'll be the only ones I trust to do it... unless I can somehow get it to Grid1.
Mike (the mechanic at BLP) has done some pretty spectacular stuff with street tuning AEM stuff from what I've seen. I think you'll be really happy with them.
Oh, yeah, they also happen to be one of the cheaper shops in the Springs lol. Not sure how that works out considering they're performance, but their labor prices are 10%-30% lower than most anyone else out this way.

Thanks again!
If anyone else has any recommendations, please feel to send them this way. It'd be nice to have a somewhat comprehensive thread with all the options for future people who search...
