I will have my car at the March meet. That usually is our biggest meet of the year anyways.

In the future, I would like to find a place off of I-25 to hold a meet that would make it easier to get to for both South and North.

That private road was cool! Plus, the cop told me it was cool to go up there and take pictures since nothing is up there yet. I don't think he would have been very happy with us drifting on it though! LOL

Well here's the pictures I took, none of the cruise cause I was way behind the whole time along with Jason. I was overheating in the hills and had to do the speed limit to cool off. By the time we got to the lake I had enough and decided to go home along with Jason and Morris. I won't be making anymore cruises either and meets will depend on how far of a drive it is. I have put over 1,000 miles on my car just going to rotary meets... and its a daily driver.

Miss the club guys. Wish I could have been here. So far the club (or lack thereof) out here is pretty dull compared to good ol' CO. But I can't say the FC is complaining about all the air.

Good ol' CO used to be dull too when it was the Intermountain RX-7 club. Actually, the SoCal Rotary Club is the biggest in the Country.

In the future, we may only do one meet a year.....or maybe we will have 2 meets, but only 1 of them will have a cruise involved. The other one we can barbacue or something.

Just because theres a lot of cars doesent mean theres much of an active club.

On top of that, i'm having a really hard time time finding anyone down here that is willing to tune my car... In CO I knew (within like 15 miles of my house) two people that I would trust to tune my car, and people refer them all the time for rotary tuning. Not the case out here.

Maybe im just not trying hard enough.

When I went to Irvine CA for Seven Stock 8.....there was a shop that tuned Rotaries...Dont remember the name....but I would go to it on Sat Oct 28th at Mazda's corp office and you might be able to find someone to tune it then....Steve Kan will probably be there along with anyone who is anyone in the Rotary community.

It looks like the meet was really good. Sorry again I had to miss it I was out of state til Monday morning. The pics are great, there are a lot of beautiful rotaries here. Looks like I would have been the only silver FD... I am hoping to make the march meet as long as the pass is clear then. I have a 2.5hr drive just to get to Denver... That and I am hopefully wanting to go single not too long after march. I have not seen that red FD up here since I mentioned it that one day, maybe it was just passing through.

I know it is a long drive, but what about possibly having a meet up here around steamboat. i dont just say that b/c it is where I live, but there are several car clubs that have meets up here and there are lots of good places to take pics and lots of curvy roads to drive on. anyways, its just a thought and I know its a long drive...
