Rotary Meet Saturday 9-30-06 at 1pm

Recent edit.......I hate to reschedule this meet for those who could have made it on the 23rd but can't make it on the 30th but today I looked up the weather on www.weather.com and it easily made up my decision showing the 30th is supposed to be 71% vs 56% and raining on the 23rd.

Very few meets do I actually call every person in my phone and I will be doing this to create a huge turnout. Even though this is an official Rotary meet....I opened the meet up to "all Mazda's" as well. I will be parking them in a different area. Please spread the word!

What: Mazda Meet
When: Sept 30th 2006
Where: Sil-terhar Mazda at 120th and Wadsworth
Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm Then cruise to Blackhawk/Central city for pic's
Who to contact: Mike B 303-929-1998 or Adam 303-469-1801

At 3pm we will be taking a cruise to Central City / Blackhawk to take some pictures and take the Super hwy (4 lanes and very curvy) back to 1-70 to head home!

Like before....I will need some help with printing out flyers to take to all the Mazda dealerships in Colorado. Can someone make a flyer for this meet that looks cool! Make sure it has at least a picture of an RX-8 and has my Name and number (303-929-1998) at the bottom for any questions.

I need someone who will visit the dealerships in the following area's

Colorado Springs
Fort Collins / Greely
Boulder
Aurora
Northglenn / Westminster
I will do the Denver Metro area

Since our Spring meet had bad weather (very windy) and we skipped the Summer meet.....let's make this fall meet the largest one to date. Our Spring meet even with the wind we had 30 cars total (11 FD's, 11 FB/FC's, and 8 RX-8's). Our previous Spring meet of 04 was our previous record with 20 cars total.

That's the kind of help I need! Kinko's doesn't take the flyers to the dealership for me. Plus, I have a copier at work that will print 1000 copies in 5 minutes or less.

You just said help, you didn't specify what sort of help. So I was helping, we'll see if I do that anymore...I'll stick to tech support and herassment.

The address is 1551 US Hwy 287 Broomfield CO 80020

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...&zipcode=80020

Basically take Wadsworth and go East on Midway (1 block north of I-36) and turn right at the second stoplight and you will run right into it at 120th. Park in lot accross from the Mazda dealership.

Please post if you will be able to attend or not. If you don't post...I know you are a slacker and you need to be checking out the forum more often!

If you need right away.....I would call Jim Berg at the Mazda Honda shop (it changed names but don't remember what it is)

Also, Servion in the Springs is known to be one of the best tuners in the state but doesn't have a ton of rotary experience.

We are flying a tuner in next spring from out of state if you want a Top notch tune.

Feel free to give me a call for their numbers.

Hey thanks alot Mike. I will try and give you a call sometime just to get some info. The car is running ok right now. This winter when it is in storage I hope to get in some wrench time and get a few more things installed....Like new fuel pump, injectors, rail, possibly a mid-pipe and boost controllers. But I think all that will be after the suspension work. I bought the car this past April and it was stock with the exception of a downpipe and powerfc. I have most of the reliability things done now and I am starting to try and pull a lil more power out of it. I may put off the midpipe install til right before the tuner will be here in the spring and just cap off the boost at like 7-8psi to try and compensate for any spike that may occur. Does that sound like a good idea? I am still fairly new to the 7 but I do a lot of reading on here...

The PLX wideband was about $350 shipped. Can somebody who has a program to make up a flyer with a picture of a RX-8 for this. Please include my name and number if anyone has any questions.
