Looks good. I need to do the same with my FD. I just hate the prep work when painting cars. That always takes the longest, but you have to do it for a good paint job.

Yeah the prep work is rough, but totally worth it. I'm really glad with the way the car came out!

I just moved to Albuquerque a little over a week ago. Having issues with the rx8, but as soon as that is sorted out I am down to meet some fellow rotary guys (I've owned multiple rx7s in the past, and they are still where my heart lies, just using the 8 as a daily driver and cross country driving machine until I find another 7).

Hey guys just looking to see if anyone knows where to get a used FD motor from? Don't care if it needs to be rebuilt just wondering if I can get one locally before I have one shipped.

Welcome back, Sean. Not a lot happening here. Congrats on your purchase. I look forward to owning an FD again someday.

Thanks! I bought it local, from a guy that lives like 5 houses away from me. I was cruising by and saw it in his garage, stopped, bought it the next day

Talking I've been absent also ...

I was thinking about you the other day when I went by Motorsports. Since you are now a FD owner, you can install that FD Japan OEM ashtray replacement armrest you got from me. We ran my 10AE at the track. 4th pass = 13.3 Crazy Vince from Invincible Racing couldn't keep the tires on the track. Wants me to put street slicks on the rear. Says it will run 12s!!!

Thanks. Remember when you thumped the 2 bikers when it had the twins? It is sick with your old single setup! We still have to get together on the 85 Honda Shadow deal with varnish in the lines and rust in the tank.

Back from the dead in time for Halloween! Moved back to the NE Heights a couple of years ago. Working and trying to keep up 2 households. My wife is moving back to ABQ soon, so my dual life in TrC will greatly reduce. Maybe now I can focus on my toys! Yeah!

Awesome. Thanks for the info. If I get off of work early enough I'll head out there.

I have this day off so I'll go out and watch for sure. I won't be participating in anything until I have an FB again, though.

Have any of you been on Arroyo Seco Raceway? I know it is quite a drive from Albuquerque, but it looks like a really fun track.

I've heard that it is a great track, much safer than Sandia because there are no walls that you could run into. Never been there personally though.

If you head out to the Santa Fe autocross be sure to talk to the guy in the blue GSL-SE (my dad)!

Will do. Is he going to be racing or just spectating?
