Car is coming along just fine. Got my motor all together as much as I can untill I drop er in.

Trying to get a manual rack I got fixed up and in there before I put the motor in.

I am just going to Putz around doing things here and there untill spring then I will fire it up and get her on the road..

Cool. I had a manual rack and if I would have known you were looking for one I wouldn't have sold it. I ended up putting old PS rack back in after I removed the piston and PS internals. It just has a better feel then the manual, less turns for complete cirlce and just about as easy to turn as the manual. Sucks man!

Shoot me some picks when you get it cleaned up and running.

That was pretty cool....and loud! Eric's eclipse is a little faster than i last remember it. It was taking me too long to run him down while in my power band. Josh must have been weighing me down...lol!

Yea it was pretty loud. Its cool that your car pops flames now too. 3 RX7s taking up the road was the best part. Oh yea are you still in trouble? If not we should hang out later well maybe not today but sometime. Give me a call to find out.

Peace

Megasquirt installation has begun...

I also just installed a Turbonetics ballbearing 60-1 hybrid. Was told it is almost identical to the BNR stage 4 turbo. It is night and day compared my old TO4B hybrid. I was pushing around 14psi with the T4 and my fuel system was pushing about 70% and my air/fuel ratio was mid 11's at WOT. With this 60-1, I can only push 9.5psi because any higher my fuel system is maxed out and my Air/fuel ratio is damn near 13. Detonation happens at any higher psi.

So when I get this Megasquirt installed and upgrade to 1200cc secondaries/ aftermarket fuel pressure regulator and get my fuel adjustments made I think I might hit near high 300's or if im smart and install meth/alchol injection, i might hit the 400 mark. CRAZY!

Glad to hear you guys are having some fun back home. Wish i could **** around up there too. Is Zack with the Eclipse a bigger dude who works at Wendys. If so I graduated with that dude and he is a pretty cool cat.

Anything else new?

Not really anything else new from what I know. I got a lateral link from Ransom to replace mine from sliding into a curb in the snow when i was messing around. Thats about it. Your car sounds like its gonna be really sweet. Oh yea I also did an interior conversion, went from the red/burgandy to the grey. I like the grey better. I dont know if anyone has anyother things but if so tell us.

Hey I was just wonderin if it was hard to take out the piston and the ps internals from the powersteering rack, I kinda wanna do the same thing since you say is has a good feeling maybe a little easier to turn also. I already have the pump and everthing out and the lines closed off and been running it like that. So yea I was just wonderin about that.

I was a bad little man so Santa sold my mega squirt. Got to LOVE christmas expenses!

Good news though boys, I am coming home for good, most likely by june. I just don't know if I will still own the FC. I am leaving my job because I can't stand to be away from my beautiful little girl and wife any more. Can't take the stress of the long distance **** anymore SO my move back will be pricey and I might need a financial safety net. I will only get that cushion from the value in my car.

I don't know what to do with my second baby. I have put soooo much time into her BUT she would probably sell for a good price. I know I won't get what I want for it and that is why I am still indecisive about the sale.

I will say that if I do sell the car, the sale will be in Montana. It is NOT EMISSION legal here in Cali and that is HUGE in regards to sale price. It would be a track car only. Back home that doesn't mean ****

if any of you guys are interested in the ride shoot me an email and maybe that will help with my decision.

Have a happy new year!!

You Bastard..If you sell it don't sell it here. You won't get **** for it. You are much better off putting it up for sale there even if it is not emissions legal.. If you sell it post it up on the forum..Just my advice. Also don't sell it.

Good to hear you are coming back. I can understand not wanting to be away from the family anymore. Take er easy guy and think long and hard about selling your car. With the mods you have you would be pretty lucky to even fetch 5 g's here.. Also don't want it going to some tard who is just going to kill it anyway..

Have any of you been pulled over for your car being too loud??? I just got pulled over by a cop after him stalking me for more than a mile.... Then he tells me that i don't have a muffler which i new, but i didn't know that it was illegal to not have a muffler. How many damn trucks don't have mufflers???? Do they ever get pulled over? No............. So, he tells me my car is creating noise pollution and what not... Pisses me off.... If it was illegal i figured the shop would have told me before they did it... So, ya, if you know of anybody who has been pulled over for this, plz tell me.... I can't stand it how these stupid harleys and massive trucks go make all of this noise, but when a japanese car does it, it gets pulled over..... That's justice for ya............

I got a ticket for my exhaust being too loud....I just went to court and talked to the DA and told them the box said it was D.O.T. approved. I had to pay a $50 court fee but got the ticket dropped.

I'm glad you got it dropped.... I've been talking to some of my friends who have these straight piped trucks that are much louder than mine, and none of them have been pulled over. Even better yet tho, is when i talked to the guy that installed my exhaust system. I told him that i had been pulled over for "noise pollution" and he laughed and said "i figured that would happen".
