Ransom,
Did you check the EGI ground? Are you running aftermarket injectors? Have you rewired the EGI ground from the ECU to the rear housing? Have you called GEICO?
TRUST me man, I know how frustrating this **** is. I get so pissed because these problems always seem to happen right after some mod/repair and the new problemmatic component worked fine before the previous maintenance.
I am off of work at 2:30 both tommorrow and Friday. Call me and I will stop by the shop and help you out dude. I have had EVERY FUEL problem in the book. Hesitations, fried injectors, low pump voltage, grounding issues, bad new fuel filters, Pulsation dampner leaks, gremlins...you name it. This SOB will be found.
Oh I didn't know the dude with the RX8 was turbo charged. Very rare to actually see one. Well have to go for a run against eachother.

Ha. Sometimes the only way to gain ROTARY knowledge is through trial by fire unfourtunetly.
And I should have knocked on wood after typing that post last night because I have some pretty nasty hesistations today. Probably fouled plugs since I have been running PIG RICH trying to street tune this car at this elevation.
I miss sea level.

No, It is mounted underneath your vac line/ solenoid cluster(I.E. Rats Nest) It is a copper lead with two black wires spliting from the main harness. A 12mm bolt should restrain it along with the rats nest to the top of the rear housing. If that ground is disconnected/dirty or just has built up to much resistance over time due to age and corrision will not let your injectors operate. A quick fix is to make your own circle grounding kit around your whole engine bay. Just some 10 gauge wire in this order:
NEG BATT TERMINAL > to < DRIVERSIDE STRUT TOWER
DRIVERSIDE STRUT TOWER > to < ENGINE HOUSING
ENGINE HOUSING > to < UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD
UPPER MANIFOLD > to < FIREWALL
UPPER MANIFOLD > to < FACTORY GROUND *below front strut tower across from turbo
You probably checked this but look at your EGI fuse carefully. Sometimes they appear to be seated.

Well if I like the idea its better than nothing. We could all meet up around noon or earlier on Sat then drive down to the car show together and walk around and check some cars out. If we stay long enough we can drive with them to the fair grounds or just go out a take a cruise of our own. I'm up for it just depends on what all the other are doin. But yea would be a good idea for us all to get out and hang out.
