Sup guyz, that was a lot more fun than i thought it would be besides the overheating. We should do it again sometime before the summer ends.

We most likely will do it a couple more times before the summer ends and next time we should have more cars and maybe some more people.

Whats up Ransom and evreyone else in G Falls? Man I miss chilling and just cruising around town, wish I would of known about the crowd when I lived there. Just seeing whats new with anyone? Whats the ET on the car Ransom? I still have no definate date when I will be up, now that half of the unit from home is down here, the **** has really hit the fan so leave is kinda iffy at the moment. Most likely late August, your car should be done by then.

Anyone interested in me getting some little parts or accessories from either MazdaTrix or Racing Beat before I come up let me know. There shop/s are only about 15min away from me. Just let me know what you want and i will see what I can do.

Good turbo, that is what I have in my FC. Who makes it? Didn't pay too much I hope? Very responsive and pulls mother f*cking hard all the way to redline

You could always go with the BNR stage 3 twin set-up if you want NO lag what so ever and still have immediate low-end power. I have heard awesome things about that set-up. Anyway enjoy your new set up and give some Montana V8 red necks some hell.

Mine is a 60-1 hybrid with a small .70 AR. Panspeed makes it and I haven't found one yet with the compressor/AR combo like mine. It would be nice to be at least .80 or higher but need less to say it is fast enough for me.

Yours is gonna be fun. 1.15AR!! DAMN FUN

Well at least some people keep posting up. Thats a good thing, what ever happend to the people who first posted we all need to keep eachother updated.

Well anyway seems like there are good things goin on with all the 7's in great falls and around montana.

Cant wait till we are all able to get together again and cruise and throw down some destruction on the ricemobiles and other vehicles.

Beware the RX7's are coming! ha

today is a really sad day!!! err i mean last week. i finally discovered that my motor is completely fubar!!!

I am suspecting an apex seal and a oil control ring gone out in the rear rotor. i found metal shavings and a shitload of oil in the rear rotor intake ports. and when i crank the main pulley i can hear the rotor grinding the rotor housing

so it is gonna be a long while until mine is running again.....

i have a dilemma get a longblock for 2k or find a bridgeported engine and go full out single turbo and fix everything with my car/make it a winter project and be ready for next summer with over 500rwhp....tough decision

but i am buying a daily driver here next week//that way i have a way of getting around....but it will still be an rx7

oh yeah, sorry about all of the rambling but im drunk!! muhaha

Ransom and the rest of you turbo rotary Supertrapp runners. You guys need to get rid of that **** ASAP, You are only hurting your turbine efficiency and causing negative response. I know those exhaust systems are good on some applications but if any of you are going above factory psi on a stock turbo or running a aftermarket snail, you are restricting potenial power gains.

Only reason this came up was besides the fact I kinda new that back pressure is always bad news on a turbo engine(keep in mind to some degree; low boost/street driven acceptable) BUT i was recently at Mazdatrix shop this weekend and got to talking with the owner and some other vetern rotorheads, they were telling me that there are dyno numbers of turbo rotaries with supertrapp exhausts and then dyno numbers with the same engine with an free flowing exhaust. Difference in power was 20-30 horsepower at ONLY 8 psi on factory turbo. As for a TO4R HKS turbo the loss in power was 55-60 at 12 psi.

Thought I would let you dudes know. Check this out too: https://www.rx7club.com/spec-tuning-154/how-size-matters-478915/

Yeah thanks for the info. I am still thinking on what I want to do. kyles car does very well with the supertrapp.. He has good response etc etc.. Could he have more up top with a diff muffler maybe. I don't really understand how they can judge the dyno numbers with so many variables they would need to run in some cases up to 24 dyno runs just for the 1 supertrapp muffler. How many discs where they running, what size supertrapp, what size discs? Yes you can have to much backpressure with a supertrapp but if you have enough discs it has supposedly the same area as a free flow exhaust for it to flow.. So I don't really know either way.

I don't know if I will even get to drive my car much this year anyway...So I have some time to think and research some more..

Oh yeah when you coming back here???

I will be home on the 20th but I will be flying up. Only have enough leave for a week, so the drive would take up two full days there and back. I want as much time with my wife and daughter as possible. I was really hoping to drive but maybe October. If not then, summer of next year( i will have new fuel and turbo set up then )

You know I remember the rotorheads mentioning some amount of discs but I can't remember exactly how much, only it wasn't to many. 2.5 piping.

yeah I know certain factors will play and every set up is different just wanted to keep you guys informed. Kyles probably works well because he is still using the factory turbo, if he ever moves up in size I think he will notice some restriction.

Take care bro and will give you a call when in town, I wanna catch up and see your ride. Whats your number?

You had TOO much fun with that new turbo eh? Sucks dude, **** 400 out of the FD is fast enough. You ever been in a 400 hp rx7? I took a ride in Mike Hartz's FD down here. He is pushing 410 to the wheels. 1st and 2nd gear are damn near useless.

Get her back up on her feet dude. That blows though, I feel your pain. It is like losing a friend or member of the family.
