Hey all, got to the springs last year, I'm @ ft. carson...been out of town since fall of 08... headed back out of town again sometime this year, figured I'd drop a line. I constantly see a black fd with a wing on base over by the hospital, wonderin if you're here...

Came here from Oregon(where the car is currently being torn down and rebuilt)
My wheels:
MB '93 FD(touring)
TSW Thruxton wheels
00 ls1
custom piping to borla 3" exhaust
havent decided on what to do for the intake...

well, as for the engine I won't say one way or the other, different strokes for different folks.

I liked my rotary, trying the v8, if I don't enjoy, I'll sell it and get a rotary again

There is a car show in Greeley on May 10th in the big lots parking lot I believe. Nothing super huge, but my goal is to get my car finished enough to bring it to the show. Hopefully more will come!

I think you guys will be happy with the v8 swap. There really are no drawbacks to it except if you are emotionally attached to the rotary.

Best of luck with the builds!

High Plains Raceway

Hi all
Anybody here ever take their RX to High Plains Raceway? I was down on the 17-19th with a guy competeing in the Honda Challenge. That is a nice track!!! Made me wish I had my 1st gen to do some hot laps! My RX is just stock NA but stripped down that I tear up the cones with at the local SCCA events. I'm sure my lack of performance brakes and tires would really show on that track! It be a kick to see.

I just bought a spec-7 car to race in the RX-7/Miata class this weekend!

If anyone is interested in getting involved in wheel to wheel road racing, please let me know. I will walk you through getting signed up with SCCA. I bought my car for only $3k! Talking about a cheap way to get involved with real racing.

Welcome runines. Congrats on the FC as well. too bad you're just a little too far South. Fort Collins need more rotaries!
One of these days I'll get my TII running, then I'll be doing my part...
