Hey guys! I am planning a killer spring meet! It's about time we get everyone back together! The Spring Meet is always our biggest turnout of the year since everyone is tired of winter!

Hay Mike,
have not talked to you in awhile, I moved to Salt Lake City and trying to find out if anyone meets around here but I guess they just keep to them selfs here. Guess I might have to drive back to Denver to have fun again.

Is everyone here on the Yahoo group? Go to www.groups.yahoo.com and search for Mile High Rotary Club. We have about 120 rotary owners from Colorado on there but I'm sure there are a few that have not signed up yet.

Hi all,
I'm moving back to Denver after several years in Seattle. Are Rotary Specialists and/or Mazda-Honda shop still around? I'm going to need a go-to place for fixing my increasingly ancient rotary cars. I'll join the mile high rotary yahoo group, too.
Anybody got a 5-speed RX-4 transmission?

I'm not sure if Rotary Specialists is still in business. I was never a fan of that place.

Well, where to go, then? I always got along fine with Rotary Specialists, they did good work on my T2, I was happy.
Have another question about emissions tests for pre-1982 vehicles. Do they have to pass a visual inspection? I'm pretty sure both of my cars would easily pass the idle-speed test, but the visual inspection might be problematic. Old cars are totally exempt from emissions in Washington, so never had to deal with it here.
If visual inspection is an issue, does anyone know any test place which might be, ah, relatively understanding about the situation. On the visual component only.

My advice would be to look at the aircarecolorado web page:

Engine Builder?
Hey guys,
It's been a long time. Still got the FC, but it's had a half-blown engine for the last few years that I couldn't afford to fix while I was in college. Got a couple questions for you gentlemen.
Does anyone know of a good place/person who can rebuilt my FC's engine? I only went to Jim Berg for as long as I've owned it, but now that he's in Texas I have to look elsewhere.
I don't think there's any major damage, pretty sure it just needs a new gasket kit, and maybe a re-streetport on one of the irons. After talking to Jim over the phone and diagnosing the symptoms, we think that the porting work was off and one of my side seals is damaged as a result (I have about 50% compression on my front rotor, blow-by, etc).
I'm pretty wary about people working on my car, so unless you know of someone with a great reputation who does high quality work, I'm not interested. I have money now, so I can afford quality work if there's someone around who can do it.
Also, does anyone know of someone who is experienced with installing and tuning Haltechs for RX-7s in the area? I have a PS1k in my car, but I've been having trouble with the ignition and am sort of stumped.
Thanks for the help as always guys. I'm looking forward to fixing it so I can start coming to meets again. And I finally have money again so I can resume modding her.

If you just want an engine and plan on doing a lot of work to make something cool and different you can find 13Bs on the www.norotors.com forum. However they will try to turn you to the darkside and convince you that a min of 44 moving parts is better than the three in a 13B/12A.
You;ll have a heck of a time finding one in Colorado. You could import one from Japan but you aren't realy gaining anything unless it's a !3-RE or a 20B out of a JDM Cosmo.
