Welcome to Colorado!
The car will slow down a bit...and I always had to downshift when going up hill or passing, but then my engine was slowly on its way out. Hahaha

well im in the springs area, there is some perfomance shops around, nothing specifically for rx7's but in the junk yards there is a few 7's. there is the occasional 7 in the monthly car impound auction.

yea that was sept. auction, the 7 went for 100 bucks, dunno why so high, the car was pretty jacked up, unless i needed body panels it was worthless, interior stripped, no engine or tranny. WITH rust so you tell me how much one in this condition should go for?

about that junkyard in denver, any of them 2nd gen? im looking for coils and a fuse box to get rid of fuseable links. and could use a s4 jdm.

i have to say... that i am kinda turned off right now...

i would like to keep this car but i need to keep it low cost right now i can do the work... no problem... but there is such a high cost for a new engine... something like a grand for a new motor... something i am not willing to spend... i might be willing to spend about 650... but that would be my limit...

also i was looking to get atleast 25+ mpg... is this possible???

info would be nice before i turn to ebay for the Entire car...

ohhh i picked it up the other day... the battery is dead... a tire is low on air... the intiere is shot ... there is a good about of body scuffes.... nothing that really stands out 5 feet away... but you know...

so now i find out that this thing get's OK gas milage... i was hoping that i would get about 25+ but... along with the cost... i am starting to wonder if it is worth it...

first... the junkyard is off belview and santa fe... second... my n/a gets about 25 mpg with a full rb header/cat less cat/ 2.25" straight through single exhaust and 220k miles on motor running 85 oct.... my t2 has been getting about 17 mpg (think it's cause I love boost.... even when just cruisn I just kinda push it a bit to listen to the turbo) with 105k miles on everything. running 91 oct.
do you have a t2 or an na?

well the battery is dead... and i mean dead....

well i just tried to start it up using jumper cables... and the thing started to sputter once and a while... but it seemed that it was cranking slow... but it did spark once and a while... i dont know if it was that i needed a battery and it would crank stronger or... well... well will see tommarow when i get a new battery for it....

Very interesting sound... damnit... i can tell that i am starting to fall for this thing... but i dont need it... damn... oohhh well... guess... that i will have to sell off some of my other toys to work on this thing...

uhh... n/a means naturally aspirated IE no forced induction.. t2 is short for turbo 2 it's what the turbo rx7's are called.
and shoot for 600 bucks I'd sell my n/a it needs some body work ( has a few dings and is primer) but the engine is strong.. I just use it for gas mileage.. and I'm debating on a 20b project for it.
