My motor just crapped out on me. Tried starting the motor with the radiator cap off, and coolant surged everywhere! But, I have found another motor.. and lookin for a place to take it that won't rape me on labor. Sounds like I found my place!

Wow... I didnt realize there was so many more people from the ABQ area in here.

Last time I checked was probably a year ago. Only a few people responded.

I work down at Rich Mazda, so if you guys need some parts that can't be found anywhere else I can see about getting them to you at my price.

(also, keep your eyes peeled for any good deals on used 2nd gens. I might be in the market for one once I get rid of my Mustang.)

Why don't you guys find a day to stop by the dealership together.

I'm trying to get my boss to start sponsoring meets.

Meet

I think a sponsored meet would be great! Lookieme, if you can get that sponsorship then I know we can some rotaries together. If you saw at on page 2, I believe, we had a little meet back in November and had 14 RX7s! And I know there's a bunch more! We can like have a BBQ or something at the dealership, meet up all the rotorheads in town, and tell them about the shop!

Smile Car to live again.

Great things happening at Rotary RX as of late. It looks as though my bad string of luck has come to an end, and we are looking at getting my FD back on the road hopefully by this weekend. the "JDM" motor with less then 40,000 that I bought ended up having ZERO compression in the back. Tommy went to rebuild it only to learn the back rotor blew an apex seal ruining the rotor and the housing. To add insult to injury the guy would not refund ANY of my 3 grand that I paid. The past is the past I suppose. Tommy just finished rebuilding my original engine with a beautiful half-bridge port. I also changed my ecu after getting the run around from Microtech of America, opting for the power fc instead. New intercooler, spring set, new tires. This baby should rock.

So for Toms b-day we put my RE motor in and then went to Kellys for burgs and margs. A good time was had by all. We are going to start doing that more often and also some good ol bowling, and a nice Shindig at my place when I finish moving.

Fd

Yeah that is my baby We finished it up yesterday and only encountered a small problem getting it started ( the power fc was running the injectors at 100% duty cycle lol ) After that it cranked right up with that beautiful low toned bloop bloop bloop. He took me for a ride and I almost wet myself. It is SO much faster then it was before. It threw me back into the seat at half throttle in first gear up to 4,000 rpm Now we just need to tune it and it will be go for everyday use. Sean I can't wait until your beast is opperational. Good times.
