well looked like i had low compression on both rotors. it was about 4.2 all around. i had a spare engine off my white se so i had him put it in along with some stainless steel fuel lines. i picked my car up yesterday and it is running amazingly. starts up perfect on an engine with 111,000 mi on it.. the engine bay was cleaned and looks great. Tom did an amazing job all around. i'm taking my car there from now on. nowhere else. i'll post some pics in a day or so

It's ALIVE! Tom just finished rebuilding my motor and it sounds great. it's got a header and presilincer on there with some monster porting action! I test drove it and it's freaking great! I love the way it sounds. I still gotta let it run for a few hrs tomorrow and then I'll be on my way! I am once again very pleased with Tom's work and give him major props!

Tom just finished putting an S5 motor into my brother's GSL-SE. The car hauls some *** now. A few of us 7 owners are meeting to hang out this Friday at the Sonic on Montgomery ( easy meeting place ) at ten p.m. Be a great way to get to know Tom and other rotor heads here in Albuquerque. Stop by if you can.

The turnout was great! There were a total of 14 7s there. We were unfortunately kicked out of sonic by the cops in about 30 minutes cuz I guess he hasn't seen so many rotaries all at once! We ended up at the Smith's near Tramway and then we ate at the Frontier. I know there are more in town but there's always next time. Thanks to everyone that showed up it was great meeting you all and for those of you who weren't there we hope to see you soon!

Thumbs up Tom @RotaryRX now has my '88 10AE

Got the overheating problem fixed (temporarily). Replaced water pump and housing, flushed and cleaned system, coolant "fix" and when it took reflushed, rad hoses, changed oil and filter, etc. Hauled the Rex 150 miles to ABQ from home, Williamsburg (South of TrC). Tom is going to fix the surging idle problem (idle, TPS adjustment, AFM, plugs, etc), finish the tuneup I started, replace the antenae/mast/motor, check to see that I didn't FUBAR the OMP, etc. Will be my daily driver for now.

We are planning on getting a JDM TII motor, building/street porting that motor, RB exhaust, etc. and dropping that in the 10AE. Remove EGR, P/S, but leave A/C (I'm a puss, okay!) The TII we take out of the 10AE will become "the project" motor with exciting plans to put it into something special and creative. Going to stay with Series 4 for right now. Trust Tom to the max! Going to have some fun!

In January, I'll start the foundation work for my new 24'x24' garage with attached 12'x24 workshop in Williamsburg. Goal is to finish closing it in by April. Actually going to get out of the dirt. Dream of using a floor jack that doesn't sink 3 inches into the dirt when jacking a car.

Exciting things happening..............Updates to follow........

Tom at RotaryRX in ABQ fixed me up with new wheel bearing, break pads, fuel filter, etc. My TPS was bad. He took a S5 TPS and modified it to work with my S4 TII. Runs great! If you need some work done, take it to Tom. www.rotaryrx.com
Exhaust, injectors, throtle body work, and RTek 1.7 are next.

10AE is on the road!

It's running, even though it is running rich and floods easy. Need the RB exhaust, clean and new injectors. Tom is going to attempt to fix the throttle body. It should be smokin' by end of year.

10AE 88 TII suspension

I didn't do anything to the suspension, but that doen't mean my sister, original owner, and her handy-dandy husband didn't. Probably needs shock, struts, springs, etc I wouldn't doubt they are all original equipment.

BTW - Thanks for the compliment on the 10AE

Talking My 10AE & RotaryRX work update in ABQ- Update

Guys, If you need a pro who is ****/compulsive, take your car to Tommy at RotaryRX in ABQ, NM. This puppy was sick, but had potential. Tommy has it purring. I am extremely happy with the work, environment, work ethic, and prices. Plus he is a nice guy.

Latest installations -
- Cone air filter
- Custom machined primary and secondary fuel rails
- FPR valve installed (with gauge/holding 45 PSI)
- 550cc primary injectors cleaned and tested by Cruzin Performance ($12 per)
- 750cc new secondaries from RC Engineering
- Rytek 1.7 chip installed by digital tuning
- Installed new FD 100 amp alternator and dual pulley from Silverrotor (sticky in 2nd gen parts) (Took a lot longer than either of us expected)
- Replaced the shifter bushings (shifter was badly scored. Tommy has used one)
- Tommy reajusted all the idle components (now idles sweet and purrs at 850rpm)
I think my brother-in-law took it to Pep Boys once too often LOL
- This car is now very quick!
Phase I is complete!

Phase II has begun!
Ordered-
- KYB AGX shocks from eBay (good deal)
- Racing Beat suspension kit (includes springs, sway bars, etc) from Tommy
- Walbro 255 fuel pump
- Kenwood front speakers
- Boston Accoustic rear tower speakers
- Wiper, window, and heating switches upgrade and rebuilds from IceMark
- Window regulators
- Carpet

Phase III
Researching-
- In-dash stereo deck
- CD changer
- Amp
- Grounding options and scenerios
- Multiple power outlet installation
- Body work and paint (looking at the Escalade 'Diamond White' paint)

I am jazzed and it is all coming together.....................

Hell yeah man that 20B is sick! My FD is dead in the water right now. I just bought a JDM engine, microtech, 1600cc secondaries and I am finally getting rid of my auto. Should be awesome.

About a week and a half ago. Tried starting it to no avail. I suspect o-ring failure because my engine was going through coolant everyweek. Yeah I am hoping for the best (shooting for around 350-75 RWHP)
