Sorry to hear, i might be in the same boat so dont worry, and ive spent more money and more time so that should make you feel better!!

 

The first time BDC tuned my car, I ran out of boost at 12lbs, then last time I ran out at 17lbs....this time I ran out at 19lbs which feels pretty good but I still need to get the rest of my fuel system installed so I can get up to 25lbs.

Marc last time ran out at 12lbs and was so pissed I thought he was going to punch someone.....we will see if things work out this time.....the moral of the story is....you can't get frustrated with these cars and give up.....they are a pain in the *** and difficult to tune...but we will bring BDC out again when Claus has his car running and my fuel system is done and a few other Rotary owners need his services.

 

I don't know what in the heck is going on with Jason's car. My theories are that it's something to do with either a bad secondary injector (a bad new one, that is) or a problem w/ the resistors or something. No matter what I did to adjust the fuel map in P11-P20, I couldn't get the air/fuel ratio to flatten out. The map was well over triple where it should've been injection wise.

Brian, I ordered a new sensor that was broken off and had it overnighted. From what I understand....that sensor doesn't do anything really and I believe has been broken off for a couple years. But I figured I would get it to narrow down the possiblities of why it doesn't want to start.

 

oh well, gotta love blowing $500 over a weekend and getting nothing out of it...Woo Hoo! I love you FD!!! NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Sorry, I'm just really bitter right now. I get to go all summer without having my car tuned....

 

Is there no one in all of Colorado that can tune your car when BDC leaves ?

 

The new guy who just signed up on the Yahoo group with the Black FD since he needs his car tuned for the altitude. You guys can probably work something out. Also, Derick needs to still get his car tuned. He said he is going to have Don tune it at Carz Customz...You can also have Nick at Mac tune it.....just don't tune for that much boost until we get a professional Rotary tuner out here again.

 

If i was staying In colorado Id chip in on another ticket but im going back to Ny in 2 months.
