You will definately want to do that to prevent what happened to me! Here I was at a huge Street Race at Brighton Blvd. A Black Kenny Bell Mustang just beat this Viper w/ nos and everyone wanted me to race him since I had never lost on the Street. I start my burnout and blew the rear end in front of about 100+ people watching.....It sucked!

There's another GT35R -7 coming to the Springs near you..... Of course, I have between now and July to get it together, tuned and not blow it up before the Army sends me off to Va. Combat pay is great, but you can't enjoy a fast car from Iraq! I'm sitting in Kuwait waiting for my flight home, it should be on the road in about a month, weather pending. Turbo'll be sitting on a Gotham 3mm Streetport block with an RE V-Mount. After blowing a motor then burning out 3 sets of used stock turbos I figure its time to step up in the world. Whats crazy is I didn't even know anyone with a singled 7 until Kole did it right before I went single.....Now theres a ton of them popping up....Should be for an interesting year!

 

Well hell, nowadays all these factory cars coming out with 300, 400 and even 500 hp, we gotta step up our power as well to stay ahead...

Both Derek, Marc, and that M.B. FD that showed up to Hamburger Stand went single before Kole. 2 of the 3 just didn't have there car running.


To be honest....Performance wise.....I wish I would have never went single...Hopefully this year my times will change my mind about that.
