Visited up there for Christmas and it was pretty nice. Hella cold but nice. Nice scenery and all. Didn't see any rotarys though. I thought about moving up there. Hows the Rotary community up there?

There are absolutely zero rotary powered cars in Colorado springs, and only 4 FD's in denver.

Possible V8 conversions? But I really thought it was nice, the moutains and all. How many months out of the year does it snow?

I know of about 120 RX-7's, and there are a ton of RX-8's. Colorado has one of the largest known Rotary communities in the country. Nothing like CA, TX, and FL but still pretty big.

A few of us in the springs, but no one really hangs out. My cars surrounded by about 2 feet of snow so I can hardly see it in my driveway. Im sure if you were here in the summer you would have run into some rotories. 3 of us fd's get together at the Grocery Warehouse car show when the weather is nice. I've talked with atleast 3 more fd's and a few fcs but never saw them again.

Just bought 1985 GSL

Been living in the springs for 18 months, just bought a 1985 gsl first gen,i have 2 years experience on working on first and second gen rx7's,not too good with trouble shooting some things, but most mechanical stuffs a breeze,my gsl wont stay running unless i keep pumping the gas to make it idle,if i take my foot off the gas it dies, seems to run good pedal to the floor,i'm thinking it has dirty jets from sitting,Anyone heard of fred(rx7heaven)?i used to work for him in canada, great guy very knowledgeable.

Once it dies, is it harder to start? Check all vacume lines, but sounds like you better do a compression test!
