Boost Controller question

For Colorado owners

Just bought and installed a GReddy Profec B Spec II, and praying that someone knows the set-up percentages for 10psi. I know I have to play with it but would feel more comfortable if someone can give a baseline on where to start or even better the exact numbers. My mods are cb, hi-flo cat, dp, intake, intercooler, stock twins sequential. Any info on the subject would be great. Thanks

Start everything at 10% and work your way up. The boost controller setup will be different for your car vs everyone else's.

minus the CB, you have the same mods as me. Do you have a PFC? Where you at in CO? BDC, do you get a lot of FD's with creep or spikes after installing the PFC? I bet that all gets fixed when tuning properly? I have a MBC, but not hooked up. I experienced a bit of a spike or creep, not sure which one? that was before I bought the PFC and MBC, I was going to hook the PFC up first and see if I even need the MBC? When you get out here BDC I am hoping to have that all figured out.

I live real close to you, Firestone. About 30min from Ft.Collins. I don't have a PFC, lacking the funds. From what I hear, boost controllers only eliminate boost spike. The PFC I'm not sure of, it will eliminate boost spike for sure but boost creep I don't know. I asked the same question a year ago and got a response saying if you have a mp, the only way to get rid of boost creep is porting your wastegate. I got a hi-flow cat for that reason but I think I'm still getting some creep. I guess if the PFC doesn't get rid of creep, than I'm stuck with porting the wastegate.

Sweet, we need to hook up sometime soon. Pm me anytime. I was told the same thing about the boost creep and spike situation. The thing that I am banking on is that Dr Wankel(aka Dane) had stock twins, HF cat, CB, and PFC and had no issues with boost creep and/or spikes. He claimed that it was holding boost just fine and no need for a BC. So we will see what happens. I have a new HF cat and PFC in the box ready to be installed. I don't want to be driving too far or much on the base map when I do put in the PFC, so hopefully by the time I am done, BDC will be here to tune it up. Yes. I am so glad I am going to have it tuned properly. Nyteryder, get a hold of me sometime. Hopefully we can cruise and see what is up soon. It was hot today, summer is coming!
